nothing...
my comment was that corey could be 1st team, not that jarron shouldn't be 1st team
Oh. What will Davis’ role be next year?
probably houston's leading scorer next year, will probably be viewed as our best player (*unless dejon pulls out some magic)
corey was houstons second best defender, and made 20 more 3's than anyone else in the conference last season while shooting it at 43%
His overall role will really depend on how good dejon or hinton are ...if both are good he will likely remain a spot shooter, if there are growing pain, he will be a ball dominate guard (like he was in juco/hs)

this kinda old (4 days old) but dan hurley did a podcast, that wasnt posted here
The Sidelines with Evan Daniels
summary of somewhat relevant stuff to us
he thinks he can make uconn into a duke kind of program
only 1 kid transfered (out) in his entire tenure at rhode island
defense will be man, and pressure
Hurley was high school coach straight to D1 head coach like penny (at wagner)

How good of a time are we talking?
I need details on anything that spites Norwood College.
They're not university 6 so I would guess an online porn membership, a soda and chips sorority party, and some espresso. . kind of fun time.
I am a little disappointed they didn't go all out with "2 chicks at the same time"... SMU needs to raise their game.

Jaykwon Walton is the one that everyone seems to be going crazy over. 6'6 point guard who can shoot it really well. Now, I wonder where he could play for a 6'7 former all-NBA point guard who can show him how to get there?? I also loved the article I read somewhere that said its amazing just how many times you hear "Penny is one of my favorite all time players" said by todays top recruits at these AAU events.

We got that a ton at SMU when Brown was coach. The irony is none of them were alive when either Penny played or Brown coached Pistons even AI. Oh yeah, recruits are dumb. For years theyd always praise SMU's style of play, get up and down the court, freedom to get out and play. Meanwhile, that's the complete opposite of what SMU did on court.

Pony94 needs to get more "personally" involved in SMU recruitment....

Coaches sometimes state (Tubby and Pastner come to mind) they plan an uptempo style but do not implement it because the coaches fear the results (eg, blowouts vs close defeats) and lack of control.
I think one of the biggest mistakes by Pastner was throttling back the team after our crushing defeat to Ok St in 2013. He should have taught the pressing style better and stuck with it. In the long run, it would have won more games and establish our brand with recruits.
I hope Penny will endure the learning curve and not succumb to the temptation to control the game rather than let players create within established principles.

Meanwhile, I am dreaming about 6'6 Walton posting up a smaller guard and when doubled, kicking it out to Wingett shooting 3s and Lomax throwing alley oops to Wiseman.

Your scenario has more substance than an ethereal dream due to the realm of possibilities opened by Penny.
The Orlando Magic are taking their little penny doll to the draft lottery tonight for good luck.
