Wish JMU had a purple and gold checked endzone.

You've had some great ideas, but this isn't one of them.

Another journeyman from a school we would clobber. I have to wonder how much better he would be behind a decent offensive line, but I think he only has a year of eligibility left, right?

I am glad to see Cig actively pursuing a transfer QB. Undercuffler seems to me to be the best so far, but I guess there is something there preventing that from happening, so Cig continues to shop. I hope he doesn't pull the trigger too quickly, lots of time left for solid QBs to enter the portal.
Perhaps because he sucked in the CAA this past season. Just a guess.

Also, an interesting one with alternating purple and silver, wonder how purple and gold would look.

Endzones is one thing, but if JMU ever went purple turf, I’m done. Its bad enough that JMU, along with just about everyone, doesn’t have real grass anymore. Football was made to be played in the grass, dirt, and mud. The least they could do was keep it green.

And before anyone says it, I’ll say it for you: Now get off my damn lawn!

I couldn't agree more about playing on real grass. In fact, I used to only pull for teams that played on real grass, but that is no longer really an option since "almost" everyone has transitioned to synthetic turf.
great movie

Might be a bad idea, but if I hit the lottery it's going to happen. 03-lmfao

Nope, don't think that was the case at all. He didn't light it up like he did in 2020 when he threw for 3,500 yards and 41 touchdowns! (versus ten picks), but that was likely due to surrounding personnel this season. If you watch him on film, you see that Undercuffler had less than two seconds to throw on nearly every play. He had to unload in a hurry! And, much of that was in 2020 when he played lights out. THAT shows you what he can do. Imagine what he could do with our OL, receivers, and coaches.

To me, your argument is like the argument many made in 2018.... "Nooch sucks!" No, Nooch didn't suck. Nooch was trapped in a bad system with bad coaching. Cig took the same offensive players, and he and his new staff turned Nooch from a player many here wanted to bench (and just like you say about Undercuffler.... "he SUCKS!") and turned him into an NFL draft pick. Imagine that! I guess he didn't suck after all, right?

Albany's 2021 schedule was also much tougher than ours.

Cig starting following Undercuffler on Twitter for a reason - he knows talent when he sees it. I'm not sure why Cig stopped following Jeff on Twitter, but I suspect it has to do with something academic, or maybe Cig is looking at a QB he believes is much better. But, I promise you Cig did not stop following Undercuffler because he experienced a massive epiphany and said, "Wait a f**king minute, what the hell am I doing? I gotta' stop following this guy. He sucks!"
Interesting pick up. Didn't see that one coming.

Size.. check.
Smart... check.
4 years of eligibility... check.

Good luck to him. Go Dukes.

Reported as a walk-on for the team. Could be our new Patrick Bentley which is an important part of the team.

DiNucci came in as a walk-on.

Quote: The former Pine-Richland standout transferred from Pitt after a 2017 season in which he started more games than any quarterback on the roster but had to battle Max Browne and Kenny Pickett almost constantly for the privilege. He chose to walk on and compete for the starting job at James Madison in part because Cignetti, then the coach at Elon, recommended the program.
Offer to a DE from Lafayette who has been raking in quite a few offers.

It sounds like from his Twitter that he is more excited to go to ECU than to the others. He is excited to receive an offer to ECU but Blessed to have received offers from everyone else.

I think that’s his teammate, Steven Stilianos. Looks like he’s excited for him and retweeted it. I had to double take as well.

We've gotten a few already with RB AJ Davis coming in from Pitt along with a safety from Arkansas State and a safety from Boston College.

Like others I'm a little disappointed in our inability to get a P5/G5 backup QB.

Malik Hamm was a preseason 2nd Team AA along with being on Buck Buchanan Watch list and served as a team captain as a senior. Seems like a Bryce Carter/Ron'dell Carter kind of fit at DE?DT/DL from Baltimore, MD.
