I liked that piece and it was almost a throwaway.

Of course, I was also waiting for Lauren Cohan (Maggie) on Talking Dead (and she was on the couch with Eliza Dushku).

That Eliza Dushku is one good looking woman.

I always thought she was hot on Buffy/Angel, but she has matured into a bombshell, imo.

Like I said, she and Lauren on a couch together is fuel for an old man's fantasies.

(It does really throw me off when Lauren speaks and is British, though. There are a LOT of Brits on TWD.)

Lauren is American she just lived most of her teenage years and 20s in the UK. She's kinda like John Barrowman.

They haven't gotten into where it came from. It's too late now unless they have some kind of flashback intro that doesn't go with an episode, but I wish they would have. I haven't read the comics but I've been told they don't mention it there either.

Shane talked about a little in season two/17 miles. How it started first as just some funny stories on the news and then all of a sudden it was everywhere. Obviously, didnt get into the nitty gritty of the science or anything.

Yeah. I'd be really interested on the science. Is it some type of fungus, bacteria, or virus? Some kind of alien thing that hitched a ride on a meteorite? If it was going to be discussed it would have been in the CDC, but they specifically said they didn't know and listed all the possibilities.

I remember in the original 1968 version of Night of the Living Dead, the reanimation of the recently deceased was due to radiation from outer space. I also believe in that event, the flesh eating ghouls were mainly observed only in the eastern third of the United States, not world-wide. It will be interesting if the Walking Dead television series allows the viewer to understand how this unfolded and its origin in later episodes.

in World War Z, it was worldwide, but stands were made at certain geographical boundaries...i.e., the Rockies, the North in the winter, etc....that allowed the humans to regroup and gain the upper hand.
I would like to know how the governor knew about Rick's haul of guns on the previous episode.[/u]

i think it was implying that the Guv has Ricks group under constant surveillance.

That's the way I took it as well.
That's what I figured but didn't want to assume. Hoping that line isn't a foreshadowing that he has or did anything with Morgan.
How many episodes left? Last episode seemed to be a setup for the season finale.

You can also see the seeds of distrust starting to show w/in the govenors group.
First part of next episode: getting ready for war
Last part of next episode: war begins
First part of following episode: Woodbury retreat
Last part of following episode: Goverors death
Final episode: prison invasion of Woodbury

if its like the comics then you got the plot of the final episode reversed.
