Wonder if Heath or Gabriel is with the new group and have clearly been welcomed, and that is why Rick smiles? That is the only reason I can think of Rick smiling so quickly, before he even knows what kind of people he is dealing with. I can't think of anyone else that is both away from Alexandria and not otherwise accounted for that would make him smile.
Heath makes since. He was such a memorable character, I forgot completely about him.
I forgot about Heath! He's got the long hair already.

I think Rick was smiling at the end because he saw how many people they had and knew they could help with the Saviors. All of them were young and looked pretty capable of fighting.

I thought this was the garbage pail kids from the comics.

It's been a while since I read this arc but what "garbage pail kids?"

Garbage pail kids were mostly children that lived in a junk yard, looks like this is where the story is heading, but it's not exactly the same as the comic book.

This group and the music is like watching an old Star Trek episode.
Pretty stupid.

I did like the scene between Darryl and the other guy though. Intense.
Rick needs a tetanus shot.

I told my wife that when it happened.
Seems I'm the only one who noticed that the 18-wheeler they hid behind in the last episode was from the original Smokey & The Bandit movie. Haven't seen it discussed anywhere. I don't even recall them saying anything about it on Talking Dead.

Weird. I saw the side of it and was like wtf is that about and made note but didn't recognize it from anything. Good eye.

Gee, another group introduced into the series, how swell. Feel like there's been no action in the first two episodes, other than Rick fighting the armored up walker.

I was joking. Everybody seems to be on edge to be offended. Like they just can't wait. These folks wouldn't have lasted long back in my old Marine Corps barracks where chops were busted non stop and nothing was off the menu including moms.

Full disclosure I'm way better at all the things listed than my wife is. We both do them now that I'm retired but it was just a joke.
I know it's a fake TV show, but the thing I don't get is why Neagan doesn't have his guys watching these outposts. He has enough man power to keep an eye on them, why would he risk all of them teaming up against him? Doesn't make sense to me.

If you're him, there's no way you don't have someone watching who goes in/out of the Kingdom 24/7.

When are we gonna get the Neagan back story episode? Gotta have it soon I would bet.
Yeah I think an explanation to that is ego. He seems smart but arrogant.

Posted from mobile device. Hopefully it's coherent.
