The show is going to get darker if I were to guess.

Definitely, the producer even said so in tonight's episode of Talking Dead.

The host asked if it's difficult to keep finding ways to reinvent themselves, and he said yes, but they are going to keep pushing the envelope to the point where AMC tells them it's too far.

Apparently the show can only have one black man at a time. killed off the prisoner (who I suspected was a redshirt anyway) to make room for Tyrese.

Odd you said that, I was thinking maybe the same thing.

I know some of you do not like the young actor playing Carl, but it's really getting to the point that I really like the kid. He is shooting walkers like a pro. No hesitation. Kind of reminds me of a friend I had as a kid when we were both that age. Certainly not a whiny kid. In fact cannot thing of any whiny kids staying alive very long.

I feel like Axel is probably a rapist or a child molester or something. They rescue both Merle and Darryl and bring them back to the prison based on Glenn saying "why did you bring him back here" in the preview.

So does anyone else think that they FINALLY made the right move by having Talking Dead RIGHT AFTER the first airing and an hour long?

Of course it's a ratings move (TD was receiving ~1.0-1.5 demo rating at 11pm when it could get a much better rating right after the episode)

Also the move away from Sunday at 11:30 should really help Comic Book Men (~.5 demo rating) as long as it's in the 10 PM hour which depending on when they start the block of shows is doable as it should be the leadin with it's already built in audience

I actually don't think Axel is a rapist/ child molestor. He is a prisoner that has been surrounded by men for years and years. He knows the world has gone to sh*t and thinks that some of the same rules in society might not apply anymore in this new world.

You saw how quickly he changed his tune once he found out that Carol was not a lesbian. I think he is just looking for a woman to be with. Finding out that Beth was close to legal age, He figured that he might be able to "court" her in the near future.

I don't believe it will be much of an issue, but I could be wrong.

I believe that one of the prisoners in the comic was a pedophile; I know that Carl was attacked by one in the comic.

The prisoner beheaded two kids (that story line and characters doesn't seem to be carrying through tv).

I still think the character will flip on them though.
