Watch the last 15 minutes again. I think that's a big hint as to what's coming.

I know that much, but there's a fight a brewin' and we have to wait.

Don't worry, I don't think the directors will deviate that much from the comic version.
Hate to think of what the prisoners are going to be feed,
while they are waiting to be feed on.
What I liked most about the episode was that we got to see Rick "rediscover" himself and the fact that he's actually fine with it. Here's what I took away from it:

(1) The folks at Terminus are definitely cannibals. The pile of skeletons they pass while on the run solidified this to me.
(2) I think that my hypothesis may be proven correct: the eat the males and breed the women to keep their food supply going.
(3) Those candles seemed a bit out-of-place, but each one could represent a person they "sacrificed" for food OR it they could represent the time they've been resorting to these measures in order to survive.
(4) The folks at Terminus are really good at what they do; they are well-organized and have been at this for a long time. They will be tough to deal with.

Predictions for next season:

Someone gets eaten, slowly and one-piece-at-a-time by the cannibals during the entirety of the first half of next season. The revenge main characters get will be epic.

Carl will become a bigger part of the show; in fact, I'll go so far as to say that he might be the one who escapes first, only to come back and free others.

Tyreese and Carol canvass Terminus before they enter; they might be the ones who save everyone. They also wind up being the ones who find Beth... alive and well, although she's been "kept" by someone, who might be bad or good. (?)

A main character dies: my guess would be Daryl.

The first half of next season ends with them going on the road to DC so that Abraham's arc can really begin.

My guess is, you read some of the comic?
I thought they did a good job blending stories from the comics with the tv arc last night to create something that was familiar to readers, but different.

I knew the throat scene was coming, but was still tough to watch.

The only thing I find unbelievable is that the first group of survivors just stumbled blindly in and then Rick is all about "let's scout it out and bury weapons" then just basically stumbles blindly in.

Still overall, the return of Rick, reunion with Daryl and Carl's continued emergence were strong writing.

Should be an exciting fall.

They were desperate for this place to be a salvation. I can understand their hasty move. But the bag was a smart move and will obviously come in handy once someone can get out.
i personally find the show most compelling when they are out in the open wandering around.

my least favorite season was when they were holed up in the prison fighting the governor's gang holed up in Woodville.

if i want to watch gangs fight, i'll turn on Sons of Anarchy. they are much better at pulling that off.

i have low hopes for next season.

Agree with most of this, but I don't think Daryl dies. I thought the last episode of this season Daryl would die at the hands of that new group.

I'm pretty convinced at this point that he sticks around.

Although I too agree that I didn't care too much about the Woodbury storyline, I quickly tire of the "out in the woods" storyline. Get's old very quickly and almost unbelievable. Seriously, sleeping in the woods, walkers sneaking up en masse, etc. Last night was perfect example.....Rick and crew hear a twig break when Daryl's gang is sneaking up on them but they can't hear bumbling, stumbling, mindless walking dead zombies sneaking up on them? Also, unless you're in a national forest or park area, there are houses and shelters nearly everywhere in rural America, even Georgia. Finding shelter for the night is a no brainer....no pun intended.

Bob
I know its all for TV, but the biker group scene on the group was just unbelievable...

You have six or so guys all with guns drawn on them, couple point blank, couple standing back, Darryl getting beat down by 2. And Rick, Michon (sp) & Darryl manage to over take all of them. Should of maybe brought in some walkers that caused a distraction then maybe.

Anyways, good last show... now we wait!

I think it is reasonable that people would be shocked/stunned if they saw their leader get his throat bitten off by a living person.

I wouldn't have been unhappy if a stray bullet found Carl's character though.

Yep where you think they get the meat would be my guess 03-lmfao.

Rick explaining to Carl how you set things up to lead the squirrel/rabbit into the trap was foreshadowing, too. Terminus is basically doing the same thing with people.

And the roof snipers could obviously have shot them. They seemed to be herding them, or at least trying not to fill them with bullets...

My guess is, you read some of the comic?

I've only glanced through the "Fear The Hunters" issue that features "The Hunters".

I think that these guys at Terminus are based, in part, on those guys from the comics.

What little I know of the comic is from message boards, Wiki, etc.
You can't kill them until you are ready to eat them.

I read online that in the comics the Hunters use tourniquets and meds to keep people alive while they carve them up to preserve the meat since there is no refrigeration. It's about time Walking Dead stepped up and reeled me back in. I'm ready for season 5 already, damn you six month wait!!!

Powdered milk is apparently a big ingredient.
Feeding them would be a waste, since people actually burn calories just breathing, you would have to feed them more calories than they would yield.
