Zzzzzzz

After they get done with Negan, they need to do a budget busting final season with every idea they have left and a final resolution for the zombie plague, good or bad.

The show is running on fumes. It's so budget stricken that you get that horrible deer CGI and lots of episodes with just 2 or 3 main cast members because they can't afford to pay more. It's painful. Just end it.

This season has been a white hot mess, after the season opener. There are so many story lines it's hard to keep track.
I was in a bar last night that had it on. Everyone around me basically said they hated the show at this point. They either had stopped watching or were only watching because they were committed and felt like they should see the show through to the end.
ive been a big fan for a while but I can def agree with the above statement. The battle to take down the "Negans" needs to happen

Yeah that was garbage. It also seams to me like the acting, lighting, etc was different. Had a very different look.

I think they are just having filler episodes until the fight with the saviors.

agreed. For all the talk of how awesome this season was supposed to be, its been pretty darn dull. It will probably end with some cliff hanger about the war getting ready to start. That will keep us waiting for next season. Other than introducing Negan, and a few new groups to help fight him eventually, this whole season has been a waste.
interesting episode. I was pretty sure Eugene didn't want to come back to Alexandria. Paul is out of the closet.

I think he's loving life as a Savior, OR he's planning to poison Negan if he gets a the chance.
Yeah Eugene strikes me as the most intriguing. I can't tell if he's playing the part because he knows he's getting closer and knew those 2 in the middle of the night stood zero chance of getting out alive. If it was the entire squad loaded with guns he'd prolly roll.

do you all think that was Darryl or Dwight with the cross bow at the end?
Oh good point. Forgot Dwight was carrying the bow too

Agree. That said, falling in under Negan is perfectly aligned with Eugene's long term pattern. He likes to be protected and under Negan, he has exactly the kind of cushy situation he has always wanted (similar to the situation he enjoyed with Abraham). He Is protected and respected with Negan---he even has some authority. So while I think he's perfectly happy where he is---I still leave open the possibility it might be a ruse to take out Negan when the time is right
Looks like Sasha might end up occupying Daryl's old cell. If that's true her story arc may follow a comic character that ends up biting one of Rick's crew.
Shasha is a dead woman walking. Negan will finish her.

We are just enjoying the show and not being critical. It's a f-ing show about Zombies for goodness sake. My family gathers around the tv every Sunday night.
Well things are setting up to see Sasha whacked in the season finale. My guess is Dwight will offer intel to help Rick and Rick will need Dwight to go back to the Saviors to help with a surprise attack. That sets up for a "prisoner swap" where Negan double crosses Rick and gives Sasha back as a walker after he takes Dwight. What Negan does to Dwight will be determined by how good Dwight can lie.
I am hoping they finish Gregory off in the finale.
The actress who plays Sasha is in the new Star Trek series, so she might be a goner
I hope so too but not sure they'll get to it with only 1 episode left, albeit a extended one. Who knows.

Question about walkers. I always thought they couldn't feel pain, wandering around as they do with arms and legs falling off and all sorts of stuff impaling their bodies. yet in the walker attack, somebody kicked one in the groin and he doubled over. What gives?

Only the most primitive part of the brain remains alive so naturally a shot to the man parts still hurts.04-cheers

The writers and producers of this show have no respect for their own rules. They change stuff as they go along.
