Like I said, she and Lauren on a couch together is fuel for an old man's fantasies.

Lauren is American she just lived most of her teenage years and 20s in the UK. She's kinda like John Barrowman.

They haven't gotten into where it came from. It's too late now unless they have some kind of flashback intro that doesn't go with an episode, but I wish they would have. I haven't read the comics but I've been told they don't mention it there either.

I also believe in that event, the flesh eating ghouls were mainly observed only in the eastern third of the United States, not world-wide. It will be interesting if the Walking Dead television series allows the viewer to understand how this unfolded and its origin in later episodes.

in World War Z, it was worldwide, but stands were made at certain geographical boundaries...i.e., the Rockies, the North in the winter, etc....that allowed the humans to regroup and gain the upper hand.

That's what I figured but didn't want to assume. Hoping that line isn't a foreshadowing that he has or did anything with Morgan.
