Last season was a little on the lame side with the whole thing looking for the girl only to find she was in the barn the whole time. Did anyone NOT see that coming?
The main reason the plot was stupid is that the old man wanted them gone the whole time. He knew the girl was in the barn, he had her description. Once they knew about the barn he should have just said the search is over she's wormfood, gtfo my land. There was no point hiding it at that point.
I agree that most of last season was lame but the last 5 minutes of the finale completely made up for it.
The Killing did the exact opposite. The season was great but the last 5 minutes ruined it completely.
I am looking forward to it as well. Agreed that the first half of season 2 seemed like they lost track of where the show was going, but it was still good. Cant wait to see what they do for the 2nd half of the season. Hope they get back on the road to head to the army base. Leave the old man to his farm... but take the hot girl with em!
The second season 2.0 should be great. I'm still wondering where Merl is.

Shane will get his. Don't worry. BTW, I've heard this season will follow the graphic novels much more closely in terms of deaths.

I'm glad Rick did that. I'm about ready to see Dale go. He's more or less useless IMO.
I feel that Darrell is about to go off and look for Merle in the next few episodes since he still feels bad for Sophia. Eventually he has to show back up for real. Also, have you given thought to the helicopter that Rick saw during episode 1? They haven't touched the relevance of it yet.
I actually got my dad to watch episodes 1 through this one during the marathons. He didn't move from the chair the entire time.

If this follows the novels, Dale becomes one legged Rambo real soon. He is the baddest of the badasses once they go you know where.
I don't know how closely this is going to match the novels. The only time it really follows the story line is when they're traveling from place to place.

I'm pretty sure the Governor shows up next week. If he does, then I think they'd have to follow that story line.
There was also a reference to the safe zones last night and thats right out of the comic book. Also if I am not mistaken didnt Dale say at one time he was in Vietnam?
