The house stayed mainly due to gerrymandering.
Reports are that 8% of trump voters left him and went to Biden. That's the difference right there.
As to the gerrymandering thing, weren’t the districts the same as 2 years ago. I may have this wrong but I don’t think they redraw until after 2020, I.e. early in 2021.
Which, if that’s the case, things won’t look good for the Democrats in the house in 2022 with republicans getting to redraw the districts.

Told her that the main difference between Republicans and dems is that for us politics are a part of our life, something you have to be aware of, but it’s not defining. For dems, it is their life because They believe government determines their outcomes. They don’t understand that they can win personally even with the other party in power.
I just hope they get the process cleaned up some in the next 4 years, or better said, don’t let the dems create even more chaos. I just want a system where every person who is legally eligible and decides to participate has their one vote counted.

The publishing of information and subsequent retraction reeks of intentional mis-information and calls into question the entire process.

All that I was pointing out was that the # of ballots left in GA seemed to be a moving target. Different media were reporting vastly different numbers and did not have a good handle on how many were left and the number went up not down.
