So the Republicans look like they’re going to keep the Senate, made big gains in the house, and still control all the important state legislatures as a result of this election. So it’s one of three things:

1) People Generally agree with Trump and the direction he was taking the country, but don’t want him to be the leader because of his mannerism, Twitter, etc.

2) a good portion of the democratic base doesn’t understand how our system works, and only voted for Biden while ignoring the rest of the ballot resulting in the big Republican wins down the ballot.

3) Perhaps something fishy happened in the Presidential election.

The ballots were set aside and have not been counted yet. If they're mail, they're going to Biden by around 70-30.

There's also 35k ballots, mostly all mail in Alleghany county, a blue area that has not been counted yet...there's also still more outstanding mail ballots. Biden is going to be ahead around 50k when the counting of the allowed ballots is done today. The remaining ones will not change the outcome.

Not sure about the %. Trump got more votes then Hilary. The difference was turnout
