If this reporting holds up—it’s game over.
So, I've been watching this thread and doing my best to learn for a while now, and I have a question for those who are already leaning toward a conclusion that the election was stolen: What would you have to see to make you believe otherwise? The current state of social media, blogs, and news sharing ensures that there will ALWAYS be another "source" that some are willing to believe in a highly uncritical manner (I'd actually say that this thread has shown that a time or two), and that doubt spreads quickly. We are in an age where we can easily find the "news" that supports our own opinions...so where do we go to find common ground?

If the president himself concedes, will that do it? I don't think it's too far of a stretch to imagine that simply not happening. (I do think all alleged misconduct should get the investigation it's due, by the way. We should all accept the idea that a legitimate investigation and recount could uncover details that change the outcome of the race.) But short of Trump himself saying the election wasn't rigged in a way that tilted it, who else holds any weight? It seems like Fox loses a little bit of their reputation with Trump supporters every time they disagree with him or show him in a negative light. Do they still have enough clout to make a difference?

I also recognize that this question can easily be reversed, to ask those who are already convinced the election was completely on the up and up what it would take for them to believe otherwise. That's fair, and I'd love to know that too, it's just not the main question I'm asking here.

Anyone putting any faith in GP needs a reality check. Screen shots of voting totals in real time are not official results of anything and are meaningless.

Counties do canvasses which compare printout reports to the machine totals to certify their results before the state deadline, which is 11/17 in Wisconsin. Any issues like this would have been caught then. Rock County completed theirs yesterday. Biden won the county by the 9,000 or so votes.

trump lost. Deal with it.

Evidence, actual evidence. The other day that clown Matt Schlapp claimed a Biden-Harris van unloaded a bunch of ballots in Nevada. You honestly think not one person had a camera to take a picture of it? #Bigfoot

Congratulations President trump on your most glorious reelection!

I know, right...and George was upset. I didn't get a stipend for that one. I never learn.

Fair questions..... I am a Trump voter. I am not on the pulpit screaming fraud, fraud, fraud; but I am definitely skeptical of the claims.

I am not naive (nor should anyone else be) to the probability that some kind of voter fraud doesn't happen all the time in every election, but it would take a pretty coordinated and wide spread effort to pull off something of this magnitude (across multiple states).

There is no harm in taking the time to look into this. we know JB wants to get his transition team going, but giving this 2-3 weeks to let the dust settle seems reasonable to me.

To answer your original question, I will accept the final result regardless of what it is after this due diligence has been performed. If we do not validate the integrity of the vote and the process, our country will be lost - regardless of the outcome.

Claiming a "election has been stolen" when you lose by 46,000+ votes is the head scratcher.

In the end, the "46,000" number isirrelevant. It's how that number was achieved that is in question. If it is legit, so be it and time to move on. However, it's far from certain that the numbers are legit.

It isn't irrelevant at all.

If someone claims that there are several voting discrepancies in, say, in Florida where 5,000 votes are in dispute in Miami-Dade.

Well, Trump won by 370,000 votes, so the 5k error isn't going to do anything.

It's like saying the refs robbed your team when you lose 34-13.

That's not the point at all. The point is there may have been irregularities, the number does not matter. This isn't rocket science. Anyway, if there's nothing wrong, then do the recount and it'll be done with.

Of course margin matters.

If we find out some podunk court clerk in West Virginia trashed 26 ballots that came from a small swath of Biden friendly addresses that means the ENTIRE state's results should be invalidated?

Because fraud, right?

I'd rather know that podunk court clerk messed up with 26 ballots than not know. The action, not the number, is what matters.

I am an American, I fly an American flag, stand proud for the National Anthem, believe in an incredible document called the Constitution and ALL the amendments that come with it. Up until 8 years ago; I always voted policy not person. Tomorrow, Veterans Day has more meaning to me than just another Holiday. Regardless of who is President, from President Carter to President Trump I have and I will do my best to support him or her. It's my duty and obligation as a citizen. Even though it's likely the next 4 years are going to be challenging for me and my family, I will play the cards I am dealt, I am not afraid, I've been there done that.

Who is our next president is such a small thing when you compare it to what appears to be happening with this election, the impeachment thing, the media, the money being throw toward candidates. (Nothing is free) The more POWER they have the less WE the People have and that scares the hell out of me. My generation is much better off that my parents and grandparents generation. Will my kids and my grand kids be able to experience the same great things I have?
