Anybody anticipating any surprise signings for us tomorrow?

Someone needs to let the worry warts in the general forum know that we are not losing all our recruits because of a bad season.

1 more flip from UK means 1 more recruit saved from the SEC's masochist chamber.

If we sign Meechi and all the other committed Ohio guys, who did we miss. Hawkins definitely. I am not sure that Oates is superior than the juco from Georgia. The guy with the bad hair seems like a pass to me, freeze in Minny.

Up to 9 CBs for UC and the last one I saw was by none other than UK’s guy Steve Wilfong.

Lakota West put out some guys this year but they always underachieve at the next level so we probably aren't missing too much. He's not coming here, but I'm curious to see what Jackson Carman ends up doing.

Also something to file away in the "random" category...caught up in all of the MLS and FC Cincy stuff on twitter, somebody just through out a "CeCe2Cincy" hahaha.

I took a gander at the Meechi decommit thread on the UK Rivals site. The progression of comments, each coming in clusters/ increasing levels of delusion:

1. Crap. We lost one of our best recruits.
2. Ohio State was waiting for things to sort out. He'll sign there tomorrow.
3. Cincinnati? Must be an issue with grades (I spit out my coffee at those comments).
4. Coaching staff is looking at better options.

The funny thing is those comments always originate from the guy whose education ended at the vocational high school he attended.

There is a very good chance Peters is heading to JUCO. He has several issues from what I've been told.

I would probably add Jeslord Boateng, Tyler Bentley, Blaine Scott, and Brian Asamoah to the list of in state "misses" in a manner of speaking, although with Asamoah/Oklahoma, that's hardly a miss.

That being said, this staff has already done a tremendous job locking down a significant portion of the top Tri-state talent and beating out P5 teams for some top talent in the state (Bush, Van Fossen, and Ward). I'm EXTREMELY happy with this class, and I still think there might be a little more fireworks displays on the recruiting trail.

Hawkins was the biggest miss by far especially with his UC connections. I'm actually stunned Penn State is taking him, with the way they are recruiting and considering he missed his entire senior year.

It'll be interesting to see how Oats comes back from his injury and if he'll ever been the same player/athlete. I knew deep down he would never end up at UC. I've said it on here in the past but Winton Woods HC will never do UC any favors and he loves him some UK.

UC did everything in their power to get Hawkins. Is he signing at PSU tomorrow?
