I wouldn't be suprised if he wanted to stay closer to home.

Not to mention that GTech = quality job/ career opportunities if he decides to stay in ATL.

Tech grads down here do very, very well.

Agreed.

I'm not sure i understand why there are so many feelings about, Mr. Bolden. He's an ILB, and we're looking for an OLB. He wasn't athletic enough to make it work at UC. Seems like a pretty open & close case of an ill-fitted athlete, considering our wants/ needs.

Least we also forget he very much had an opportunity to join our class, and opted to wait us out in hope of landing a UofM offer. While that didn't come, he has to his credit landed at a reasonably solid football program. He'll have the opportunity to do plenty of winning over the next few years.

Good luck to him!

If he was hailed from Dayton, nobody would care. Some of our fans think every recruit like and coach on the team should be from Greater Cincinnati.

The truth is we can’t sign them all. There’s only 25 spots. Some of them aren’t a fit. Some of them, believe it or not, are not as good as other options we have.
You was supposed to grab Bolden no matter if he ever seen field or not. related to coach from best high school in state, him signing here wouldve had huge impact for future colerain players. No coincidence our best team EVER had colerain guys all over it.

This actually raised our overall class average.

Wonder if we have any safeties/corners left on our board? im more than happy with Hicks, Shields, Ward and Bush - thats a starting secondary in a few years.

You do know we got Tom Bolden's son in the last class (who projects as a better player) and a much better Cardinal in this class...right? I'm fairly certain having his SON will build a much better bridge to the program than his NEPHEW, but who knows. Either way, we have plenty of Colerain kids on the team...and I don't believe where a kid went to high school has any bearing on their success at the next level, but that's sacrilege for any Cincinnatian to openly admit, so keep fighting the good fight.
Just use the ignore function and avoid his dreck (yet again). He's like a boomerang.

Good call...sometimes I forget that function exists.
Bummer to lose a recruit but lets see who we sign as a replacement.
This actually excites me a bit. To lose one of our lower ranked recruits opens up another desperately needed scholarship. I would love to see another big OL brought in.

Everybody calm down. We have a Bolden family member from last year's class - AND - we have a Colerain player in this year's class. Safe to say there's a well established pipeline in place.

Again.....he had a spot in this year's class and he passed on the opportunity. I don't see where/ how this stay did anything wrong in his recruitment.

The Bearcats were supposed to grab Bolden no matter what, even if he never sees the field. He is related to the coach of the best high school in the state, and his commitment would have a huge impact for future Colerain players. It's no coincidence that our best team ever featured several Colerain Cardinals.

There, that wasn't so hard now was it?

Really, really basic English that most of us learn by the time we're 10 is hard on some people.
