Reggae with a razor's edge...

While finishing up my undergrad degree at UC and living in Zinzinnatuh...two albums completely changed my perspective of what popular music was capable of. Incredibly, both were released on September 24, 1991. The first one was Nevermind...

...and the second one was Blood Sugar Sex Magic...

Clapton, Billy Gibbons, Jeff Beck, Joe Walsh, Bonnie Raitt, Derek Trucks, Jimmie Vaughan, Susan Tedeschi, Gary Clark Jr...

During my UC student days I saw Clapton on his Journeyman tour in 1990 at Riverfront Coliseum. Great show. He's one of my favorite guitarists all time for his body of work and the dude can sing and play just fine together. I have several of his Crossroads Festivals on DVD. That 2019 lineup features several artists I've also seen live in concert: Gibbons, Beck, and Walsh.
I don't care if they're a bunch of old farts, they still rock [in 2005]...

i got this bob dylan's greenwich village double album from the library
