Goose from last night

an old favorite:

Pretty amazing he was only 17 during this performance
Lots of memories of this song [mostly good] back in my drug and alcohol experimentation days...

Crank it!

Awesome, I went to the Stones concert in Detroit Monday. Second time I've seen them and I'm pretty sure future opportunities to see them live will be iffy at best. Mick is still pretty amazing, not sure if Jagger or Angus Young put in more miles during a concert.

Dude! I saw them on the Steel Wheels Tour in 1988 at Louisville Cardinal Stadium. I thought they looked old back then LOL. They fuggin' rocked and have so many damn good tunes. One of the greatest rock bands of all time IMO.

your daily zevon

opening track...just do the entire album. The Southern Harmony And Musical Companion is required listening.

The original non-acoustic version was a must play when entertaining ladies back in the day.

That is definitely their best album IMO. I saw these guys twice when I was attending UC. The first time they played at Bogarts on Short Vine during their first album tour and the second time they opened for ZZ Top at Riverfront Coliseum. Great live band!
As a Van Halen fan growing up, this song was not one of their guitar master blasters but man does it bring back memories of my Junior and Senior years in high school.

My favorite Skynyrd album. Dear Lord the alcohol consumption back in the day listening to this...
