Not sure what made me think of this today, but I was at this bar hundreds of times (mostly before I was 21). I may have actually been there this night, but either didn't stay for the show, or I wasn't dialed in at all.

Rough audio of Nirvana at Murph's, followed by a random interview of the band at 2 a.m. out on West Clifton, 10/6/89. Anyone there?

IIRC, Mr. rath previously posted he was there on that night. I frequented that place a few times back in the day - probably more than I can remember. Unfortunately, I missed Nirvana.

I recall that now. RIP, Rath2.0. Looking forward to the 3.0 version.
i was thinking of rath as well. i was so moved by him seeing nirvana back in '89 i included it in a short story when i was wrapping up college this time for good. this was like ten years ago or some fairytale

Just saw this news Lush. Scott Hutchison, Frightened Rabbit Singer, Is Found Dead at 36

Quote:“Depression is a horrendous illness that does not give you any alert or indication as to when it will take hold of you,” the family said.

you can almost hear suicide in his lyrics. one of my favorite bands, saw them play at southgate house in aught nine

this was meant to be:

Dead Daisies - Make Some Noise. I'd like to hear this after the third quarter instead of "Shout" - that one's getting old. BTW, Dead Daises will be at Bogharts Augus 30th.

Here is a song that we need to play in the 4th quarter: AWOL Nation - Miracle Man

picked this up from the library the other day cuz it looked sweet and they were at least on a cool label. floor me baby

Shocked to find out just recently that Dolores O'Riordan of The Cranberries was found dead in her hotel room in late January of this year. She was only 46 and left behind 3 children.
