Was Skyscraper his first or second solo cd?

Technically it was his third if you count the EP:

Crazy from the Heat (1985)
Eat 'Em and Smile (1986)
Skyscraper (1988)
A Little Ain't Enough (1991)
Your Filthy Little Mouth (1994)
David Lee Roth Band (1998)
Diamond Dave (2003)

I'm not familiar with anything past Skyscraper since I'm a Steve Vai fan and didn't bother with his later releases. John 5 played some tracks on DLR Band.

I always thought that was a pretty good version of the original. IIRC his limp/walking with a cane in the video was due to a serious motorcycle accident he had at the time.

Unknown band to many but they kicked ass in the day.

The Melvins were a big influence on Kurt Cobain. You can hear some of that in this tune stylistically and with the tempo changes.

Had to listen to Gram Parsons today for some reason.

love me some take away shows and you will too

Check Your Head was a great Beasite Boys cd for sure. Lots of good stuff to be found there.

I was never the biggest Bone fan even if I did like some of their stuff. Had they had more variety in their subject matters and really done more with their actual ability to sing and harmonize they could have done a lot more IMO.

Diggable Planets eh? I liked their first few tracks off their cd they had videos to but when I got the cd, while a lot of the beats were ok, the rhymes just didn't do it for me. I think if they had done some things better they could have been better than their 1 album wonder status, as by album 2 they had fallen off the map. Their jazz beats and their 3 MC flow to them showed a lot of potential.
Inspired by a reaction video on youtube about "Aint Talkin' About Love" by VH I dug into the crates from VH I and II....

IMO this oozed the vibe from that era....

I appreciate the uniqueness and cheekiness of this song...

IMO, its akin to Queen's Fat Bottomed Girls LOL.

Catchy riff and cool jam....
