a true classic
A boy named sue

Huskypride yours didn't load so hopefully this is the version you posted. I agree, a classic song.

I hope you enjoy these other two Cash songs

Saw this the other day and thought it would fit here. I wonder what a video of us might look like as we are shown new songs by our fellow board members. The little girl Sydney with the princess t-shirt was raised by good parents imho. I saw ACDC in concert probably 5 times over a 20 year period and every concert was great.

Ok.. that doesn't even remotely sound like Death Metal.... and even if The Eagles covered some Slayer or Morbid Angel or whatever..... it probably wouldn't sound like that LOL.

The name definitely does not fit the music style but that is the way they wanted it. From an article:

Quote:The group, who do not play death metal, chose their name as an in-joke, after a conversation in which Homme described the Polish band Vader’s style as like death metal, if it were played by Seventies rockers The Eagles.

The American band’s music combines elements of glam-rock and bluegrass with the “desert rock” sound of Homme’s main group, Queens of the Stone Age. Homme has compared Eagles of Death Metal to his fellow Californians, Canned Heat. The band often show a sense of humour in their work; on their 2004 debut album, Peace, Love, Death Metal, Hughes and Homme were billed under several fake names, including “Carlo von Sexron”, “Baby Duck” and “Mr Boogie Man”.

Breaking out the pre-Nevermind Nirvana.... lol
From 1985 with Cliff Burton...

Speaking of Nirvana, I've always liked their live performance at the Paramount in 1991. Dave Grohl looks like a high school boy.

Love Buzz is one of my favorite Nirvana tunes...

Another great tune from the Bleach album...

Dusted off a few tapes I had the other day and remembered these early Steve Miller tunes.

Posting this for Pirate. Did you ever see this?

Unplugged is honestly, one of my favorite albums of theirs....I could listen to that without ever getting tired of it.

GREAT DOUBLE CD OF COVERS.

Not much of a country guy... but I've gotten to really like this song...
