Ka-Boom!
this is all the preamble until private investing creates a conference once again pitting us with the unwashed. i'll enjoy it while it lasts which will probably be one year and then everyone exits fees and gor's will be taken care of by the globalists. i read an article about it somewhere
Wow. That's great news. Sure to burn the biscuts of the guys on the ACC board.

On the same note, I really wish we had told ASU to piss off. Let them have fun with Cal & Stanford & SMU in a G5 or on an ACC island.

Baylor's AD mis-spoke. UC not getting a full share early:

Yeah, David Smoak from 365 Sports [Baylor] clarified this as well. P12 will get full shares when they join. We get full shares the following year [25/26]
Wait a second! We had better be getting as much or more of a share than Arizona State.

I believe the P12 schools made the point that they were already making more than the new adds and I'm sure it was part of the negotiations to bring them in. Water over the damn since the four voted to approve it...

Pac 12 teams were making similar money in the pac 12. The TV networks are essentially just shifting dollars. I have no issue with this.
SMU offering to take no revenue for 5-7 years if the ACC promotes them is hysterical.

Better, simpler way to say it Mark. I also don't have a problem with the arrangement. We're more than doubling our American media dollars in Year One and have already seen the benefits in recruiting.

Desperation on one hand, survival for the last ticket out on the other.

They haven't been that good in either revenue sport even with revenue.

The old “Can’t Buy Me Love” scheme. Pay a conference to take you so you look cool to the other conferences.

It may already be moot...

I have a problem with it. Arizona State was on a sinking ship and the Big 12 did them a huge favor in taking them on. No way they should be given a bigger cut next year than teams already in the conference.
