I log on less and less because of a tiny handful of posters on here who pollute the dialogue on a regular basis. Reading over this thread, I realize that ~95% of folks are rational and well-intentioned. It's only tiny minority who consistently derail conversations.
Is there a way we could take the 5 or posters who seem the most hyperbolic and conspiracy minded and give them their own message board so that this one could go back to constructive and congenial dialogue?

The answer is no police departments, yep good idea, the best way to get rid of the .001 percent of bad cops. We need to rid of teachers too followed by medical staff and then the really bad people, insurance agents.

Gotta say you make a lot of great points but your delivery approach appears to need some work. IMO it takes away from your usual thoughtful responses. Not just this post but many, many others.

I am anything but a globalist, so I would like to see them charged in every country that lost even one person due to their wrongdoing. Charge them, try them, then let them serve their time in prison in one country, while they are being charged and tried in other countries. This is not an offense that should be treated with leniency.

I think the mods should be merciful and lock chicagoduke out of this thread because he can't seem to avoid it on his own and I would feel really bad if his stress over the free discussions of others caused him to blow a gasket.

Speaking of getting rid of teachers and this thread needs a little lighting up so true story... I was looking over my son's shoulder as he took one of his online business classes from a professor that he's been complaining about. Turns out the guy's only job has been a college professor so the "real life knowledge" was seriously lacking. I left a voice mail at the admissions office explaining my experience and how I could get a refund since my son was receiving an inferior service. Sure he aced the class but learned nothing. It's been about three weeks and they still haven't returned my phone call.

With more real data coming from the real science and medical people and facts coming out of not only the other states but also countries, Ralph's game is becoming more limited.
Once we see the Covid fall-out from the protesters come out in the next week or so, I think we'll have even a better idea. Keeping my fingers crossed.
