The roster for this season lists a 6-4 forward, Redshirt SR, Drew Lakey. I really don't recall seeing info on this person. Or have I just snoozed on it?

Well THAT'S new. I was looking at the roster a few days ago and didn't see it. Lemme do some research to see if I can't figure out who this Drew fella is.
I think I found his linkedin, which had this:

I can't tell if he was actually a walk-on on UVA's squad or if he just was with the club team there. He said he was a student athlete, but Wikipedia has nothing on him right now when it comes to the rosters.
I work with a guy a very round about way occasionally gets some info about UVA sports. Part time - kinda. His best friend from UVA and his frat brother works in the Athletic Dept as sort of a gopher - he has a full time job at UVA, but volunteers with the Ath Dept. But has some insight. Put it this way, if my friend and I had reacted to a line his buddy told him we'd have put money on UVA before the dance. We didn't. He was very insightful......
A classic example of I know a guy who knows a guy, whose cousin once saw another guy....
Anyway, his friend has nothing to tell us about Mr. Lakey.

My heart still pines for the one and only Drew, Drew Williamson. Yelling Drew when he hit that shot to win the game against GMU. They still are deciding if he hit it from the South Garage or just from the Big Blue Room. What a man, what a man, what a really fine man!!

If Stith isn't the next coach I hope it's Drew. Drew can come and be an assistant under Stith and take over when Stith oes to the ACC.
