Please Wood, take a chance on Keatts! We need a Va guy with youth and enthusiasm.....Keatts is coaching in the final 4 this year and brought Hancock and montresell Harrell to Louisville......

He is the guy we need!!
Man, Ed Miller allowing me to get some sleep! That's encouraging news.
From miller: "Selig was referring to NCAAs. Sources have already ID'd Kevin Keatts of L'Ville as candidate."
I like what I have read about Keatts. We need someone to bring excitement back to the program.....a developer of raw talent in the competitive recruiting world is what we can say we just had in a coach. Academic success was also up there prior. Those are still important factors. Yet, we need a coach that engages with students to bring overall enthusiasm and game day excitement. The longterm steadfast: put the team and school first before oneself is what Selig should be looking for. Someone with staying power.

This is probably the most important hire to date for Selig. Coach Barefoot is nearly tied for that. He and his staff I trust are looking at alot of factors to prop us back up on a path for national and local excitement via a coach that will remain with us for the long haul.
It has always been Felton's job to lose. I'm going out on a limb and say he has lost it.
I still want Toole, but if he is out, Keatts is my next pick. I'll be very content if that is where we go.
Hotshot assistant has always been my preference. Hiring Keates would ensure my season ticket renewal. Felton would mean attending many more high school games.

Today is a nervous day. People are just waiting...for any type of news from ODU.
My sources are probably as dubious as anyone elses, so take this with a grain of salt, but I am hearing Keatts. I really hope they're right--fingers crossed.
You can do better than that. Are your sources from inside the AD? Donors who wouid know? Players? You don't have to namer names but some insight would go a long way
I've been saying this for a week now: it's going to be Keatts. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your hump day.

No, I don't have an inside source. Just use your head. If it was Felton or Robinson, the deal would've been done three weeks ago.
Responding to '06, who said he had sources

I honestly think Enfield being in the mix until Monday night could have been the explaination for the delay and Felton or Robinson could still be in the mix. I am still worried and have my fingers crossed for Keatts, Toole, or an out of nowhere surprise.

One is a donor who claims to be in the know. But he is one of those people who I never know whether they are overstating their position in order to look important. He seems convinced it is Keatts but, like I said, I’m not sure if I trust him.

The other one I trust more and I know has some connections in the Athletic Department but he was less firm in his assessment—more said he was hearing “whispers” it was Keatts (now that Enfield is out) not that he was sure it was.

So, that is why I said to take it with a grain of salt. Honestly, this whole process seems to have had lots of information, misinformation, and even pure speculation guised as information that I don’t know what to believe at this point. So I guess I could’ve just not said anything but I am as antsy as everyone else.
Rutgers coach just got fired. That is more comptition for coaches. This process has lasted way too long. It is time to end it.
Paul Hewitt's name is being mentioned for Rutgers:

That would be the best thing that could happen to GMU.
Dr. Selig, are you ready?

Their AD should be next. I have no clue how the AD can see that video and not feel justified to fire him immediately. The thing I was surprised most by was the players reactions. Good on them for not sinking to his level. I don't think I would have had the same amount of restraint as these young kids at their age or even now.
