A risk factor...hmmm. yeah any coach is a risk factor for that matter. You can never judge how someone will perform in any market. But in all honesty norfolk and naples are basically the same in allot of ways. But odu is a bigger school then fgcu and has allot more money but the same type of press.

I think after seeing enfeld and that coach from coastal carolina this year at football...I'll take my chances with a proven succcessful business man who loves to coach over a coach who just coaches.
Tubby Smith took the Texas Tech job.

If that happens at ODU it will be the year 2020.......People on this board will be calling for his firing after 2 if he doesn't make it. I know he basically took a start-up to the tournament. Yet, he has 2 years coaching experience at DIV 1. Again, this Monarch Fan respects that man and his trophy bride, yet there is a big risk factor with Enfield that I see.

What he said!
It took him less than two years. As a matter of fact it took him a little over one year to win on the home floor of in-state ACC Miami.

Then he managed to also defeat Georgetown, San Diego State and he also won his conference tournament. That's a pretty decent turnaround.

He also has some BCS transfers coming into the program next year.

Plus 1!
A record setting college player - $1,000

Married to super model - $10,000

A highly successful entreprenuer - $100,000

Takes a 15-seed to the sweet sixteen in his second year as a head coach - $500,000

NEXT HEAD COACH AT OLD DOMINION UNIVERSITY! - $1,500,000

TAKES THE MONARCHS TO THE FINAL FOUR IN JUST TWO YEARS - PRICELESS!

Now that's an ad I would love to see!

And has one more NCAA tournament win than our previous coach.

:sigh:
F***

Please not Felton.

Hoping for a Keatts hail mary...
I'm thinking Felton is going to get the job, but we're looking at Steve Richardson @ UNC. He would be a solid hire. Keatts would be my pick, but I don't think we're still working with him. Enfield off the table, figure he was a long shot.

They could be offering him $1.5m. Not to be bitter or anything, but that's a huge chunk of money for Enfield. If it's true, then all I can say is best of luck to USC and Andy, I would have loved to have seen him here.

F.ck way to ruin my night.

Oh well.

Keatts is next on my list, hope Wood still considers him a serious candidate!

I'd take Keatts or Rhoades over Felton or Robinson in a heartbeat.
Beginning to think its not so much who we want, as who wants us at this point.
Wood, make this happen now . . . please!

Right now, I feel like we're the ugly kid who's been friends with the nerdy girl for a while and we were just about to make our move when Freddie Prinze Jr just swoops in and makes her the prom queen for a bet and then she's all popular and dates some football player.
I find it interesting that Siena still doesn't have a head coach.
man just like my damn prom date 12 years ago this month. broke up with a nice girl for a hot girl then got dumped and had to take ugly betty.
Just had an exchange with Ed Miller on Twitter. He expects an announcement by Wednesday:
