About time Wilder takes responsibility of the quarterback position. He is stated in the latest interview that he regrets not playing LaRussa sooner or believing in BL before VT game. I take it some of the quarterbacks aren't coming back next year because Wilder said he is looking for a juco QB now.

As stated earlier, I don't believe SW plays again
Drayton Arnold situation still has me scratching my head, even though I understand why it took longer for him to develop. He certainly should be there now.
Supposedly Fitz shows a lot of promise and Wolff is on the horizon.
If we are looking for a JUCO, then we must be losing at least two of Arnold, SW, and Fitz.
I have no way of knowing for sure, but knowing what I do know, and the report that Scott had to lobby hard to get BL into the lineup for VT, maybe it is time for BW to let go of the QBs and delegate that task to Scott and Whitcomb.
If we are looking for JUCOs, IMO we need to concentrate on DB and LB.

Where did he mention looking for a JUCO QB, I missed this?
If true, I worry about the status of Williams and Arnold...both gone?

His wake up show with Ted. He wants a juco QB. See video around 4:20

Just my speculation but I think Williams. After the Virginia Tech game he doesn't wear the color jerseys like the other two do on the sidelines during the games. Arnold and Fitz both would signal calls but not SW. There is a video on Twitter with SW yelling out to coach Wilder after the Virginia Tech game saying this is my coach repeatedly kinda funny and childish.

So when Scott was coaching OL, ODU only had 1 all-conference lineman. Malone had 4. I am not sure ODU is taking a step forward with this decision. Alas, the circle of trust must remain unbroken.

Ummm...Scott was responsible for the superb OL that included Lowney, Mewborne, Morrell, Born, and Josh Mann. That line was better than any since, with all either NFL or near NFL caliber.
Indeed that line was every bit upper tier P5 worthy.

Let me get this right- Wilder fires 6 but can only rehire 4. Lol that means he’s gone next year no question.
And Wilder is a QB expert and will take over QBs, that we haven’t been able to recruit, so we’re going after a JUCO, but it took a year and a half to figure out that Williams was not the P5 QB as Bobby announced and we are going into next year starting a walk on QB. Wow
Didn’t we just have a JUCO all American that he didn’t play?

Ummmm.....had those linemen been P5 worthy, that's where they would have been, not at ODU. Did any of those guys make it to the NFL?

Against FCS competition
If you are even almost good enough to be in the NFL , that is, for the most part, a moot point, even at this level.

I think Morrell had a little time on a PS. Don't think the others did.

Josh Mann got sa tryout with the Jaguars, DJ Morrell played for the Buffalo Bills (practice squad), Jack Lowney got a tryout with the Baltimore Ravens. David Born was the best of them all before his knees ended his career in his senior season.
The point being is that no ODU Olineman has been at that level since, except maybe Nick Clarke, and they all played at the same time.
