Joe, it depends on what part of the country you're from as to how you pronounce Mobile. If you want to hear a bad accent and horrible pronunciation, watch Inglorious Basterds. Brad Pitt was supposed to be from east Tennessee, and his accent sucked donkeys. He wasn't the only one in that movie whose accent sucked either. Many of the Germans spoke with an odd accent, showing that German wasn't their native language. It's Hollywood...

I liked Red myself...

My wife caught that and we laughed.

Of course in Thomas Crown Affair (newer version) they mispronounced Lima.

Are you serious? That's one of my favorite movies; I must've been too enthralled in the great acting and the fantastic score to notice that mispronunciation.

Of course I'm a comic book geek, so the source material works for me. Didn't like unnecessary plot holes (redacted files in the classified vault? Why bother?) but definitely an enjoyable action movie.

I thought RED was pretty decent and I agree the casting was pretty solid.
Twlight / FX
--It was ok.... and had a interesting story.... the "teen love" did kind of wear on me.

Golgo 13 tv episodes/ dvd
--great backups to the two anime movies. If you like action movies with snipers and what not this is the stuff you would like.

LotR: RotK / BR
--PRetty good movie and the BR upgrades to audio were epic. The video also was noticebly better than the dvd release.

Shrek / BR
--loved the movie. I honestly think Donkey made it.

Shrek 2 / BR
--epic sequel. I thought the fairy godmother was a great villain.

Shrek 3 / BR
--Had potential with the plot and the characters they used but it felt like it was a let down from the other 2.

Shrek 4 / BR
--Great entry into the series and I think Rumpelstiltskin was a great villain.

Harry Potter / BR
--Great last entry into the series.

Ghost in the Shell / dvd
--great anime on the philosophical debate over humanity versus cyborgs versus robots. Great action and spy stuff.

Ghost in the Shell: Innoncence /dvd
--2nd movie in the series. Pretty good plot and expands their philosophy to dolls. Excellent animation... great action..... if you like Sci Fi Action movies this is a good one to check out.

Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society /dvd
--The third and final (?) movie. Pretty cool plot on how a health care system can lead to a major public political scandal. Another good movie in the series. Lots of plot lines.
Finally got around to watching Star Wars IV on BR.

The restoration job was incredible... the details.... wow...
Rush Hour 3 /dvd
--I like it the more I watch it but it was the worst of the three even though it had the best plot potential.

J. Edgar / Theater
--DiCaprio pulls off a good performance. I'm glad they didn't go too sensation about his "lifestyle" choices but I felt the drama pretty intriguing.

Talladega Nights / dvd
--EPIC comedy. Ricky Bobby is my hero.

Days of Thunder / dvd
--I liked how "realistic" the movie was and especially how they brought out the seriousness of head injuries in the sport.

The Muppets / Theater
--The movie had Muppet moments but it felt kind of uninspired...lacking Muppet Magic. Basically a guy and his brother, a "Muppet," are insuperable and they set out to California with the guy's new girlfriend/hopeful to be wife and end up discovering that the Muppet Theatre is no longer in operation and basically in decay. They have to get the Muppets back together to have one last show as a benefit to get the money to save the theatre. Lots of cameos and what not but it felt like it was missing something.

Mission Impossible / dvd
--I thought Tom Cruise's first foray into the series was a pretty solid spy movie. My only objection was the helicopter scene at the end.
I liked the first M:I, but I absolutely loved M:I III - with the exception of that TV show ending. I glanced at it like, WTF?!

Let's not ever mention M:I II for any reason.

I loved the action and the John Woo cool of II. What I didn't like was it didn't "feel" like a MI movie... it felt like another action movie.

III probably had the best villain of the three though.
I just can't bring myself to watch any movie with Tom Cruise in it anymore. Days of Thunder and Top Gun being the exceptions to this rule.

IDK, Minority Report was pretty good.

I also loved some Top Gun.

Summed it up perfectly. M:I III was a badass movie and big props to PSH. Not too many guys out there look less like a villain and he pulled it off remarkably well, the guy is very talented.

Pumped for Ghost Protocol.

The guy is a grade A ******* and a total joke, but he's been in some pretty good movies. Granted since around 2000 they've gotten fewer and farther between, but even since then Minority Report, Collateral and M:I III were all solid flicks.

Collateral was fantastic! I loved the way Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx played off of each other. You actually feared for Jamie Foxx's character's life, because you didn't quite know what Tom Cruise's character would do.
Kung Fu Panda 1 & 2.

Both are pretty good. They both have a excellent voice cast.
Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows.

More intrigue and action than the first. The plot is even more devious. Saw it with someone real familiar with the books but this is the first of the two movies she has seen. She was totally down with the movie. Ending....

I hated Collateral. It was a poor Terminator remake.
miracle at st. anna **1/2. outside of a needless love triangle, a few outrageous conveniences, and a too absurd main character, i thought spike lee did a nice historical piece. i think though that spike got too bogged down with the periodness and didn't really delve in the contemporary part of the film enough.

I saw that on Net Flix last year. I liked it.
Wow.... been a while

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo / theatre
--Pretty good murder mystery IMO. I like a lot of the intricacies of how certain peoples plot lines cross each other.

Mission Impossible IV / theatre
--I liked it. I liked that the basically disavowed the whole ground so the had to work on their own with "limited" resources. Kind of bummed that Ving Rhames' character has whittled down to cameo status in these. Liked some of the plot intricacies between Ethan and that other guy. Some of the tech in the movie was pretty sweet.

Broken Arrow / BR
--I still love this John Woo movie. Christian Slater and John Travolta play really well off each other.

Mission Impossible I - III / BR and dvd
--I still find the first to be the most "misison impossible" of the bunch. I still like the action in II. III had the best villain.

Sherlock Holmes / dvd
--Loved the first movie. Downey Jr and ____ have great on screen chemistry.

Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows / theatre
--Just as strong, if not stronger than the first. Moriarty was a legit villain. I like how he was Holme's intellectual equal. The end... well I was like :O

Alien / dvd directors cut from the Aline Quadrilogy
--I really love the first movie. Definitely dark and eerie. The Alien was so bad ass.

Aliens / dvd directors cut from the Aline Quadrilogy
--One of my T5 most bad ass movies of all time. However, this time around I think there were some holes in the plot of as far as Ripley, The Company / Weyalnd Industries, the "heads" at the meeting early in the movie that interrogated Ripley, and Paul Reiser's character. I mean, The Company would have known that they gave the directive for the ___________ to go to the planet. They knew what was there, or thought they knew... If the company was Terraforming there then they should have run into that ship that was their earlier than Newt's family finding it... Just sayin....

GI Joe / dvd Live Action Movie
--I still think they did a good job of casting and trying to make this a live action movie. My only gripes really come from the Duke/Baroness relationship...but then again I didn't read the comics too much so I can't say it wasn't a part of the story of those two. I'm still surprised the got into the Storm Shadow/Snake Eyes relationship as much as they did even though it is important. The previews I have seen for the sequel tell me it should be better.

Blade I - III /dvd

I -- Epic. I think the only down side to the movie was the poor CGI for the Blood God.
II--Awesome movie... one of my T5 most bad ass movies of all time.
III--While it had potential I was thoroughly disappointed that they took the comic relief to a annoying level cause all the other elements were there to make a good movie.

Minority Report / dvd
--One of my favorite Tom Cruise movies. I like the fact that it took you to the end to know "who did it."
