RE: [news]Middle class feeling betrayed by Trump when filing taxes
Now resident leftists are using fake stories from bot accounts to fuel their own fake stories. Wow.
In case you missed it,
On page 2 of this thread, the OP was debunked as 100% fake. There's a reason why mach has since aborted this thread. If you click the picture in the OP and scroll down, the person that originally posted it ("jester" -- the source of a lot of mach's fake Russia stories) is laughing about how he's retweeting unsuspecting Trump supporters that are arguing with what he knows to be fake stories from bot accounts.

It's sad they they know they are being lied to yet continue to push such nonsense. They are pawns in a bigger scheme yet seem fully content with continuing to play the fool.
I wonder how many of these people live in high tax states like California, or have large mortgage balances? Those are the only ways I could see these scenarios realistically happening.
I'm neither of those and have seen a near $2k flip from last year. But, c'est la vie. I'm a progressive and taxes be taxes.
Then unless you've seen a significant uptick in income (thank you, Trump), or there was a major mistake somewhere, your story is difficult to believe. Perhaps it could happen if you had a large charitable or medical or other itemized deductions last year but not repeated this year. But absent some major change in income or deductions, your story seems very unlikely. The dynamics of tax determination simply don't work that way.
Anybody can say anything on a message board, whether true or not. In order to make me believe that your story is true, you'd have to provide more details about your tax situation, and frankly I would not recommend providing that information in this kind of forum.
Well he could have had gambling debts he wrote off last year....

What are you talking about? None of this is 100% fake. Jester is not laughing.

Dude, wtf. The guy that posted that picture himself knows they're fake. He's laughing about it in the comments, about how he baited some real people with it and retweeted them.

Take notes Kronke.
I would like to publicly announce that Kronke has made a valid point. I researched two of the tweets and they had no more than two tweets among them. He has made more than a fair point and Kronke’s argument holds and is credible.
The tweet is fakery, but the screw job the middle class is taking is not.
RE: [news]Middle class feeling betrayed by Trump when filing taxes
The only middle class taxpayers that lose with Trump tax reform live in high tax states like CA, MA, NY, etc. I have what would likely be called upper middle class income, I came out slightly better. I live in low tax state.

That’s right we all laugh at him.
So how many times a week do you suckle at his teat? I say this because he’s possibly a 400 lb man in his mother’s basement.

It's sad they they know they are being lied to yet continue to push such nonsense. They are pawns in a bigger scheme yet seem fully content with continuing to play the fool.
Coming from a trump supporter, who decided to play the fool long ago, this is especially funny.

but this year he failed to pay them so he couldn't write it off? Could be, we seen that action before. But then again his word is not very reliable so thats very possible

I actually stopped by my CPA's office today for some tax filing questions. Looks like I'm going to come out near the same as I have in previous years. I feel so violated and betrayed!

Don't know if anyone has posted this yet or not, but Netflix supposedly made $845 million in profit in 2018 but didn't pay a dime in federal or state income taxes. In fact it reported a $22 million federal tax rebate. There's a reason my wife's law firm is doing so well (although I doubt they have Netflix as a client).
I'm sure Netflix is doing this on deferred income somehow. Didn't they get into trouble with investors recently because they're not showing enough profit and instead are throwing all their money into new content? All of my income is being deferred into future content as well (paying off my house and other possessions, etc.) but I don't think the government will let me get away without paying any income taxes.
