Woohoo class warfare.
no kidding.
Here will be my rant on this.
What a lot of people who are so hard core republican/democrat fail to realize, is that no matter who is in power, things have been getting worse for us for years.
The democrats want to say it is the big bad rich people to blame for class inequality. Well hey, guess what? Obama could have done whatever the hell he wanted his first term. He had a totally democratic government to vote his way!? So instead of him coming out and saying it has been a failure of the government as a whole, he wants to pin it on people who work hard and have lots of money. But hey, guess what else? It is way easier to blame those people and get people who will vote for you up in arms so that they hit the polling stations.
You blame your own government, and you won't get voted in, and you won't get paid. Racial tensions in this country have gotten worse and his campaign has always been a class warfare strategy. He can go f*ck himself for all I care. Unfortunately, most of the f*cktards in the GOP can't do a better job because they can't get their heads out of their own asses.
Until our government puts policies in place that actually works, our country will be continually f*cked.

He knows he's at the end of his time. His legacy is one of lousy domestic policies and results and even worse the world is falling apart and on the brink of massive war. Meanwhile he is consumed with redistribution-ism at "home" and making a deal at all costs with rogue regime in Iran.
He's desperate to salvage something of his wasted two terms other than photo albums of innumerable golf outings and uber-expensive "family" vacations on the taxpayers dime. Gotta be a hell of an album though.
So he's finally resorting to being what he's always been, he just isn't interested in trying to cloak it any longer. Just come right out with it and see if he can create a lasting image or story as some kind of champion for the poor or something. Hoping he will be revered in an MLK kinda way, which of course, is just silly.
He's made the plight of the poor and minorities, especially Blacks, worse in his time on office. Just look at the numbers now on foodstamps, unemployed and looking to government for things as simple as a damn phone.

Race riots. Shrinking middle class. Stagnation. Millions upon millions have given up looking for a job... and this race hustler wnats to raise taxes and redistribute the wealth? How about lower taxes and job creation?
When the next downturn occurs...be it in the next 6 months or a year into Madame Clinton's Presidency...this country will come apart at the seems. People will take up arms... against these socialists.

QuestionSocratic ( and I'm assuming ) was born an able bodied person with two parents who wen to public school .
Add those into the equation and you are likely to get odds similar to winning the lottery.
I don't think those of us who are successful truly appreciate how lucky we are to have been born in this country with the opportunities that we have.
Frankly, I'm quite surprised that more of you don't feel this way.

feeling lucky to be born in the country does not mean that those who are wealthy did so because they are lucky.
My dad grew up poor as hell, literally had no running water until high school, neither of his parents graduated high school. He went to University of Miami on an ROTC scholarship and worked 40 hours a week while going to school. Graduated and went into the USAF where he had a 25 year career. After he got out he ran a construction company until he retired. My dad is doing very well for himself. It has nothing to do with him being "lucky" or "winning the lottery".

Never has there been a clearer statement of take from the ‘rich’, whatever can they do with all that money, and give to others, ‘to be fair’. The ‘rich’ are “society’s lottery winners” and not entitled to what they earned.
It’s never about bringing others up, but always about penalizing the successful to grab more for government.
I don't know of anyone who has said that Obama isn't about redistribution of wealth.
Every politician is for redistribution of wealth. Either from rich to poor or poor to rich.
Why would anyone act as if this is some sort of a surprise?
Wait, what? Please don't tell me you think that tax cuts are somehow taking from the poor and giving to the rich....
Well, how do Republicans usually pay for tax cuts when they decide to? By cutting social programs for the poor.
When's the last time a "social program" been cut? And name the program.

That's the same odds as being born in the United States.
