I think these are the only schools that changed conferences that season:
- Boise State (WAC to MW)
- BYU (MW to Indy/WCC)
- Colorado (Big 12 to Pac-12)
- Nebraska (Big 12 to Big Ten)
- South Dakota (Great West to Summit)
- Utah (MW to Pac-12)
