I'm just glad you didn't jump the gun like certain other websites, by assuming the initial article claiming Illinois-Chicago was going to the MVC and Oakland was going to the Horizon was true, moves which still haven't happened two weeks later. I'm not even sure why some people on message boards behave as though they are journalists working to scoop the competition, or something of the sort, when there is no similarity whatsoever.

I'm so glad Derby doesn't play nanny for the csn realignment board, like some people who aren't even mods for the board and knows people have the freedom to repost what a sucky journalist got wrong. Part of the fun of a message board is breaking down a report true or false. I'm glad Commuter Bob does what he does. There's the Davidson to the A10 thread someone posted too. They are all just repeating what was written by someone else, I doubt any of us think or want to be journalists. We aren't ESPN we don't have to get it right before putting it out there, oh wait neither do they and they are "journalists"

Seriously with this stuff again? Another unprovoked personal attack against me? My post had absolutely nothing to do with you and I'm sick of you attacking me everytime I make a post about journalists getting these realignment moves wrong, or at least jumping the gun by weeks or months, and reminding other fans to be careful about buying all of those articles hook, line, and sinker.

I was complimenting Derby on his patience and professionalism, which clearly had nothing to do with you, as moderators are expected to have cool temperaments and not attack posters or even get into arguments with them. I am also not aware of you running any other sites and have no idea what sites Commuter Bob runs. Every post made about realignment doesn't revolve around you.

My point is that Derby does his chart the right way, by waiting until moves are confirmed, rather than doing stuff like putting Illinois-Chicago in the MVC based on an erroneous report and then having to undo it later when Loyola is the actual team that moves. That has nothing at all to do with whether any reports are right or wrong and it most definitely has nothing at all to do with you.

Like you told me earlier, show me where in my post you quoted where I mention your name? I didn't, I know you weren't talking about me, I never posted a premature UIC ejaculation here. So like in your post a few months ago where it sounding like you were talking about me but claimed you weren't that post is written the same way, may sound like you but it isn't, yes dickish on my part because I did it on purpose, where I don't know if you meant to. Think of that post gear towards people that b*tch at us for posting realignment leads on a realignment board. I'm thinking of a guy w over 100 rating so, it's not you. Once again thanks derby for not killing the joys of realignment. 04-cheers

Poor Tk, has to redo the D-I and D-II maps every week. Now he's got the NAIA D-I map up, working on NAIA D-II. I hope he doesn't get burned out.

The helmet project guy gave up after all the teams decided to go w/ 5 helmets a year.

Mercer, ETSU, and VMI have been officially announced as new SoCon members for the 2014-2015 season. Mercer will play football in the pioneer in 2013 and then add scholarships and play in the Socon in 2014. ETSU will readd football and play SoCon football in 2015. VMI will join in all sports in 2014.

Should the 2015 East Tennessee State football entry be for the SoCon?

I think you are correct. I can't find anything stating differently. Updated.
