Abilene Christian is an FCS Independent in 2013. They begin Southland Conference play in 2014.
"The Wildcats will begin playing NCAA Division I athletics in the 2013-14 school year. Because of previous schedule commitments, the football team will begin Southland play in 2014, but all other sports will begin Division I competition in August. - See more at: http://www.southland.org/Conference/News...RBEPZ.dpuf"

The same also applies to Houston Baptist and Incarnate Word.

I believe it is, yes.

No additional changes have been announced for the MAC, PAC12, AAC, B1G, C-USA, ACC, Sun Belt, SEC, Big East, Mtn. West, Big <12, or Southland. Not sure about the other leagues but haven't heard any news lately.

Only change is UAB folding. Probably no more changes until 2016-2017. Figure that NCAA vote on CCG for 10 teams will decide if Sunbelt or B12 expand. C-USA must decide in the spring if they are keeping UAB in other sports. Invites could go out, but I imagine the transitions would not occur until 2016 at the earliest. If any transition occurs, what I would like to see.

B12 - BYU and Cinci
AAC - Marshall
CUSA - Stays at 12
MWC - No Change
Sun Belt - Add a team, really would love to see Army join football only but doubt they would do it. Probably EKU, JMU, MZ St or Liberty as 12th.
MAC - Love to see them offer ND State but doubt it.

It's old news now, but Northern Kentucky left the A-Sun and joined the Horizon League on July 1, 2015 for the 2015-2016 season.

Regarding FBS, UMass went Independent. Other than that, no changes this year. UAB and Coastal Carolina join next year. Idaho drops to FCS in 2018.

I was looking and Coastal is the only school that moved this year...

not only that- but there's only 7 schools not eligible for the NCAA tourney this year in basketball- which is lower than it's been in a while...
4 transitioning schools- UMass-Lowell, Incarnate Word, Abilene Christian, and Grand Canyon (last year of their transitions)
2 APR schools- Alcorn St, Savannah St
1 probation- So Miss

Derby did some nice work.

It would be nice if he added 2016-17 with the above changes.

So for 2017-18 season-
football only(both schools already in for other sports)
Coastal Carolina from FCS Indy to Sun Belt
UAB from not playing back to Conference USA

Olympic sports-
IUPUI from Summit to Horizon
Valparaiso from Horizon to MVC
Wichita St from MVC to AAC

A nice step-up for AAC. No meaningful difference for Summit or Horizon. But a brutal kick to the nads for MVC. I do give the Valley credit for taking the best-available replacement, though.

Augustana's AD Says D1 Movement Is Under Consideration

Now, the AD at Augustana acknowledge that they could go to D1 under consideration. Not just rumors when an official came out saying this.
