RE: Shots Fired @ WHCA Dinner
I'd sure like to get some answers...will they perform and release the results of an actual investigation this time? Unlike Butler which we know next to nothing about.

Did the guy fire?
Who shot the SS guy?
Why didn't they shoot or kill the gunman?
Why/How did he end up almost naked?
Why was the room key scanner disabled in the elevators?
Why were the only magnetometers just outside the ballroom?
Why were guests allowed entry to the event with just a photo of their invitation with no scan? Hell, you can't even get into a concert or sporting event like that!

so much faux meaningless outrage...

It's a dinner for a private organization. They're always held at places like this. If the president is going to make public appearances, the SS needs to do a better job or be replaced by someone who can do the job.

It's funny that the narrative for this is now that we need the ballroom and that every event with the president should be held there. Many are saying he never needs to leave the White House.

So...no more campaigning in public? No more golf? No more visits to any states?

Let's put a giant bubble around the president and transport him all over in that...about the only thing that will guarantee attempts will never be successful.

yeah, when there's already been two attempts - now three ... and its hardly just a
"dinner for a private org."

there's no doubt they've failed at securing a solid perimeter in past engagements ... doesn't change the fact the ballroom (privately funded btw) easily solves these problems from happening in the future with gatherings of this sort...

but keep bein' ewe, kitty...

the "privately funded" thing was always a grift. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-cong...026-04-27/

Quote:WASHINGTON, April 27 (Reuters) - Two days after a shooting at a dinner that President Donald Trump was attending, Republicans in the U.S. Congress pushed for legislation to fund and speed construction of a White House ballroom, citing ‌increased security concerns.
Senate Budget Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and two fellow Republicans have crafted a bill to mainly finance the construction, which already is underway, at taxpayers' expense.

It IS NOT currently "underway, at taxpayers' expense". They just want to do some funding to "speed up" funding.

Nobody would have to think about things like that, if so many lefties weren't would-be assassins.
