Lol. We dog walked you in 2014 and 2015. In Lafayette you were 2 TD favorites and got your doors blown off. Just an FYI for the uninformed.
Looking forward to the cute little program in Lafayette coming to see daddy this weekend.
You gotta say though the Cajuns never high handed themselves out of a bowl game. BTW love the thread! Fun to see y'all beat up on each other!
We were told a Liberty Bowl invite was coming and while we waited the Indy Bowl filled the spot, unfortunately the Liberty Bowl switched up on us. I think anybody in that position would have done the same thing. That is the truth on what happened, people can believe what they want though.

Anyway, back to the fun.
The last time ULL beat Tech, the Ragin Cajun went home crying because Blockbuster didn't have his favorite rental available- Waterworld. He thought it was an accurate documentary about swamp life.

RE: [A Collaborative Thread] What did the Ragin Cajun do the last time ULL beat Tech?
One more time and hopefully for the last time, Tech had ZERO interest playing NLU in that Indy Bowl. The I Bowl committee knew FULL WELL what was going on with the Liberty Bowl interest and all Tech did was ASK (very politely) to wait 24 hours and allow the Liberty Bowl to make their official announcement. Two things were occurring at the same time:
1) Tech had already expressed no real interest in playing NLU.
2) The I Bowl got its panties in a wad playing second fiddle to the Liberty Bowl.
On the silliness of Tech bocking ULL out of the Indy Bowl that year. Hello! that was ESPN's influence telling the I Bowl committee they didn't like the in-state matchup for their national TV audience and strongly suggested Northern Illinois to capture some of the huge Chicago market. Whether many TVs in Chicago tuned into the game or not is not the point, some did and that's what ESPN was concerned with.
So, now, all the mess surrounding those two Indy Bowls is settled, let's move on to the games pending.

Why would they wait around when you already told them you weren’t interested in playing the team they already had lined up? If anything this version of events just confirms what everyone’s been saying about the arrogance coming out of Ruston, and fuels speculation into why y’all didn’t want to play us in the first place (it’s because they were scared)

It was the bowl, not the team. If the places had been reversed, and ULM had the opportunity to play in Liberty over Indy, they'd have taken it, as well they should have.
I grant it was probably unwise politically to make our bowl preference too obvious.

The only reason that game was even on the schedule was because of COVID. It was definitely an unfortunate time to have an outbreak of it

The last time ULL beat Tech, the Ragin Cajun was relieved to know that Biggie had survived the East Coast - West Coast rivalry.

Let's reconstruct what the Rajun Cajun did in 1996:
The last time ULL beat Tech, the Ragin Cajun ...
- The last time ULL beat Tech, the Ragin Cajun saw a great investment opportunity and put all his money into Enron.
- The last time ULL beat Tech, the Ragin Cajun thought "man the Cowboys are going to be a dynasty for decades".
- The last time ULL beat Tech, the Ragin Cajun thought R. Kelly would be a great artist to have as a role model.
Why don’t you also post how many times Lo Tech did not play UL?
Stats are meaningless when you do not play on a regular basis.
Try again.

Well I didn't post stats so I couldn't try again since I never did. We're recreating the life of a Rajun Cajun in 1996 here. It's a collaborative task, feel free to join. What did you do in 1996 the last time ULL beat Tech?
The last time ULL beat Tech, the Ragin Cajun proceeded to use all of his 1000-hours-free AOL CDs to look up naughty pictures of his favorite talk-show host - Rosie O'Donnell.

The point is that your whole premise is stupid.
Not surprising you don’t get that, since you’ve no doubt had a life-long diet of red dirt, bad food and ugly women.
Carry on little dog killer. Carry on.
