Once upon a time I assumed some of our under ranked/ under recruited guys were just that and would prove out over time. Now, With the exception of Rudolph I just don’t see that happening.

Jimmar at one point had a Syracuse and Kansas offer

Mack had a Syracuse offer

Randall had a Syracuse offer

I mean Syracuse is probably one of those schools that offers everyone though.

So to answer your question, not really. Bunch of OK players. Doesn’t mean they are bad. Probably Hammock’s worst full class on paper. But, I don’t think we can say for a few seasons. The linemen look good. The hybrid DBs could be good. Kidd could be the QB of the future? We don’t really know. On paper meh, but paper doesn’t play games.

Agreed these ratings can be a crap shoot, My thought was just until we start finding some of this diamonds in the rough it’ll be nice to be winning on paper.

I remember beating out some big 10 teams for Aregeros Turner and getting Huff to pass on NC state back in the day. Now that maybe a thing of the past because of NIL but it would be nice to have one or 2 of those mixed into these classes since paper is all we’ve got right now.

So far everything has been very underwhelming on the recruiting front and just football in general. Even a coaching change would be more exciting than what has happened so far. Sad we can’t land a P5 guy looking for playing time.

We are getting excited over Juco guys. That’s where we are at. Not only that we are excited about Juco guys coming here but that the Juco guys might be better than any of our 4 years worth of recruits.

This is a fair assessment. I think it isn’t absurd to think that Hammock has either been worse at recruiting that suspected, or his staff is awful at developing talent. Of course there is choice C, the schemes on defense are so poorly understood and executed everyone looks bad.

Also fair to say that the QB position has been incredibly disappointing. Hammock whiffed hard there. Rocky is great…the rest are…well below average at this point.

Bowers was not a whiff. We have had 4 years of good to very good "starters". That being said, our depth has been more than suspect. I still have hope someone can step up in case Lombardi goes down. Hampton,Lynch,Nevan,,,,, not sure who.

Yeah, you can't dismiss what Hammock has done in the portal at QB. And as many here are adamant about, transfers are the same as recruits. Bowers and Lombardi are/were very good at QB. Depth on the other hand.....thats where HS recruiting is still important. You're not getting two transfers to come here at QB

I would be stunned if we don’t get a transfer QB next year. Assuming health, the success Rocky had is just going to make it even easier to get one

Let's hope. But we will still need a good back up if Hampton isn't the guy. And what I meant was we won't get 2 Qb's to transfer here in the same year to have a quality starter and a quality back up. Im thinking most QB transfers are looking for immediate PT.

I think 7 means we will get a QB transfer after next season, if Rocky stays healthy and has a good year it will be an easier sell to some candidates.

It appears the mid-year window transfer portal is closed for the Huskies, not sure we will get any new announcements this week.

Pretty sure the team has been saying announcements to be made on January 17th, the first day of classes. I think we have some more announcements & hopefully some exciting ones.

I would think, once the semester starts Tuesday we will get an announcement.

Great size and speed. His route running and agility are a little unorthodox, but still very exciting. Kind of like a less explosive Kadarius Toney.

He should be good enough to start a year and transfer to a bigger program.

Guy can fly with great straight line speed. Most of his TDS were on Go routes. His breaks in and out of routes need heavy work. Hopefully they can coach him up on his route running.

He almost falls down every time he breaks…100% unorthodox. I think coaching can clean that up.
