Littrell is as good as gone. Now, we are just arguing over when he will be shown the door. Most fans want him gone yesterday, but the money people and leadership are delusional and think it should go down after the season is over. If Littrell last much longer I'll be shocked. There is just too much outrage for Baker or Smat to fight the fan base.

As for our next coach... UNT will hold a national search and try to bring some positive press to this horrific mess we have created. Doc and Holtz won't be getting calls.

Not so. If UNT was a broke program run on a shoestring budget, then yes. But that isn't the case. UNT has money and big money donors that like to get their way. It is causing problems. That is why the open outrage must continue. The administration must be made uncomfortable to the point they can't ignore the fans will. The below most likely doesnt include the last student fee increase since 2019 numbers are for the year 2018.

Context UNT is 3rd from the bottom in CUSA on donations for 2019 and around 8th on tickets sold . Now most likely top 5 in student fees

UNT might have a big donor that is willing to step up in a time of "need". Most of us have one or a few of those. The overall numbers reported to the NCAA says something different than the picture you are trying to paint.

This right here is exactly why the UNT coaching staff has not been fired and these numbers most likely goes up to 5.5 to 6 million for 2020 which is actually 2019. UNT gave the coaches a raise for a 9-4 season and I believe the 3rd year in a row...

when the only one UNT was competing against was UNT. UNT over paid and over paid more than they could afford to eat. Big donor or not



Just a guess on my part but I bet the buyout drops...AFTER, this season is officially over and not during it. If that's the case nothing is gained and maybe cost UNT a million or 2 if they fire the coach mid season....

Yes. It has been crazy since our loss against Marshall Friday night. Before I pissed off all of my connections at UNT, I knew we were still in good shape and moving somewhere, but still leveraging our position for the best outcome.

I'm excited about the move, and Littrell will be gone soon enough. I'm ready to start focusing on which coach we need to lead us into the American. Part of me really wants to go raid a MWC program for one of their better coaches. That would grab some headlines.
