Agree. You can’t throw the same pitcher 3 times in a row against the #1 team in the country that has the best batting lineup in the history of the game and expect her to be able to keep them in check. Have to be a bit more strategic then that.

Could Monday morning QB this all offseason and while I dont disagree with you, Coach Laporte deciding to live and die with the horse that brought us here is an understandable path too, especially with the extra day off. Just gotta credit OU too.

Felt like 4-1 was probably pretty much it, even moreso at 6-1. This team has been clutch as hell the whole postseason though, it's not over.

Agreed, I would have liked to see Alyssa just to show them a different look.

Just hit at the third baseman .. her defense is one of their very few flaws !! Go dukes !

Yeah I think Alissa yesterday would've made a lot of sense but of course that's easy to say now. If Alabama loses later everyone will point at them giving FSU momentum and taking confidence away from your bats by not pitching Fouts yesterday.

No, I don’t think that throw at CC’s feet was intentional. We just played arguably the best softball team ever to the best three game series of anyone this year in front of their crowd. I’m proud of these women. They’re tough, and they’re damn good representatives of the university we all love.

Oh well, tired of looking @ those ugly ass uni's Oklahoma wears anyway, as well as their home field advantage. Thank You JMU Lady Dukes, you made us all Very Proud!

Yeah, for sure. Oklahoma is a great team no doubt, and the fact that JMU not only played them tougher than the other teams but also got a win off of them is incredible. These last two games are going to hurt, but it's nothing to be ashamed of for our Dukes.

Didn’t Alexander just hit two OU batters in the last inning low on first pitches?

I just wish there was a play at the plate on that hit yesterday .. other than that I am satisfied with everything else on the field !! Proud of this team is the biggest understatement of the year!! They hung with the best team maybe ever for three games ! Cannot ask for more than that !!

OK, Dukes, one last showing on the field. Regardless of what happens, hopefully they walk off that field with their heads held high.

Alo looked all day like she was gonna crank one sooner or later, other than that Alissa has looked solid against such a high powered offense. Can't wait to see her develop, plus the recruiting boosts from this and previous runs. Now retire #3 and get that statue up.

What our team has done is astonishing, but I'll never be able to shake that feeling of "what could have been". But OU is just an unbelievable opponent - they have no real weaknesses...and they had a homefield advantage.

I hope the Dukes can keep Lauren and we can build up to be the east coast destination for softball.

Down six and still smiles on the faces and cheering on the team with every hit and at bat. Just another reason to love this team.
