Big ups Drew for having a backbone along with the ability to listen and understand that some are sorely lacking.
Anti-fascist are fascist. Don’t disagree with BLM or you will be attacked mercilessly. No matter that BLM has nothing to do with the black condition and everything to do with destroying America. The organization BLM can go to hell. How’s that for protesting?

Again, there are ways to protest that don't alienate a huge number of the people you'd like to have on your side. Of course, that's the whole point isn't it?
Protests are protests, whether they are peaceful or otherwise..... Do you agree with what Drew said?
That is a very dangerous and ignorant statement. Rioting and looting minority businesses and communities is not "protesting" and only further damages minority communities.
You don't really care about helping poor and minorities if you support or excuse rioting their neighborhoods.

I'll never see them take a knee. I haven't watched the NFL since Collin took his first one.

They weren't really allowed to last year. They were told they could just stay in the locker room during the anthem as a protest, and protest after the game all they want.
Of course that won't be enough now, now we will have to have a protest and political rally before every game. Which is exactly the type of things people are trying to escape from for a few hours when they tune in.

That will still tune in. I have a family member that told me he would DVR the games so he could watch the anthems and see who was kneeling. He also pays for that cable channel where they just flip through all the games and show the scoring plays live.

The reality you are ignoring is NFL ratings have been hurt by politicizing the NFL in recent years. And we may be about to see a huge jump in the politicization this season.
Haven't watched the NFL in years. Didn't even watch the Super Bowl this past season. Used to do statistics for an NFL team, and for several years my son had invites to private boxes through his work, and I went maybe twice. Quite frankly, I find NFL ball to be boring. And it's even more boring in person. All those long breaks where we are watching endless adverts, guess what the people in the stands are watching? Absolutely nothing.
Somebody once wrote that football combines the two worst elements of American society--mass violence and committee meetings. That describes the NFL to me, and the number and extent of those committee meetings are getting greater.

I completely forgot that was a thing, conservatives patting themselves on the back for making the NFL ratings suffer.

Its sounds like you conveniently forget or ignore a lot of things.
People do not tune in to NFL football for politics and protests, they tune in to escape world problems for a few short hours.
If that offends your SJW feelings then you are the one with the problem.

His problem is he’s not paying attention or else he would not have graced us with his ignorance....

Whoever said that the protesters and rioters were the same people??? Are you making that assumption becusee it's certainly not FACT.

I'm not the one who made the assumption.

I'm the one who took issue with it.
