How do you spell bad franchise? B-E-N-G-A-L-S.

Burrow is a real talent. But the defense made the Browns look like Super Bowl contenders. The offensive line is pretty shaky too and that doesn't bode well for any QB's health and long term career success.

The excuses have been almost endless for nearly a quarter of a century from beleaguered fans. "We just need x to turn the corner next season." Next season arrives and it's, "we just need y to be competitive in the division." X and Y maybe get fixed; maybe they don't and then Z falls apart.

The first half was enough for me last night. Watching every Bengals' game (which I stopped doing years ago) would be like going for a root canal once a week for an entire season. Maybe with ever increasing amounts of alcohol for some it's more tolerable.

The same reason everyone already says Burrow has "it" or the "xfactor" already. QB's make the league money, and a successful Baker will help make the league money.
Baker is a punk.

Burrow is a real talent. But if they can’t fix the defense you are wasting that talent. And if they can’t fix the offensive line- I doubt it he makes it through the season before he’s put on IR.

The Bengals are a wreck. I look into my crystal ball and foresee the 90’s all over again.

If the Browns can't run the ball then the Bengals win this game. The Browns may have the best NFL 1-2 run combo in Chubb and Hunt. Good luck the rest of the way Bengals Nation!
04-cheers

Let us not ignore the fact the Browns Rushing attack put up those numbers against the Bengals. Let’s see them do that against Elijah Ponder and Myjai Sanders and I will agree you may have something there...

Mayfield grabbed his crotch and appeared to yell "F--- you!" at the Jayhawks' sideline.

In the early morning hours of Feb. 25, 2017, Baker Mayfield was arrested in Arkansas for "public intoxication, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and fleeing" after a scuffle near a row of food trucks, reported ESPN. The incident reportedly began around 2:30 a.m. when someone flagged down a police officer "to take an assault and battery report." Said officer supposedly instructed the quarterback to stay put to give a formal statement, but Mayfield began "yelling profanities and causing a scene." That's when things took a turn.

According to ESPN, the police report stated that "Mayfield had slurred speech, had difficulty walking down stairs and was covered in food on the front of his clothing ... when the officer asked Mayfield to come over, he began to walk away. When the officer told him to stop, Mayfield sprinted away, which forced the officer to chase him and tackle him to the ground."

Billy is still bitter from when he planted the flag on his beloved buckeyes.

Fear at this point is he develops David Klingler happy feet from hearing blitzing defensive footsteps in his sleep.

The OL is so bad that patching it with unsigned free agents could only result in improvement. But that's not what they will do, instead they will just stand pat and watch their golden boy run for his life week after week until he has been ruined.
Burrow has completed passes to 8 different receivers 2 games in a row. He doesn't key on one receiver and he sees the whole field. That's Tom Brady like stuff FROM A ROOKIE.

I would also like to point out that thru 2 games Burrow has thrown 97 passes and John Ross has only caught TWO passes (none last night). And how sad is it that another 1st round pick Billy Price can't beat out those swinging doors Bobby Hart or Fred Johnson.

If I had any sort of athletic ability to be a starting QB at a big-time school I would be grabbing my crotch and telling everyone to **** right off. That's just good old fashioned family fun right there.

The planting of the flag at OSU was great. Most all the stories about him are great. He just needs to actually produce. People just seem to not want athletes to be fun. They don't all need a haircut you could set your watch to like Unitas.

Billy Price is a bust, and I did not see it coming, but to be fair...Price is a Center who has somewhat, unsuccessfully transitioned to Guard. He is not a Tackle, and I would not expect Price to beat them out.

Ross had that one crossing route where Cleveland blitz, Burrow had to make a quick throw and Ross didn't even look at the ball. I couldn't tell on TV if it was an accurate pass or not, but Ross was definitely not even looking for it.

Price played guard at OSU his entire career except for his senior season. The Bengals are planning to use him at guard this year. He was slated to take over at guard once Xavier Su’a-Filo went down but I saw this tweet:

Zac Taylor said the decision to go with Fred Johnson over Billy Price at RG tonight was a combination of Price battling a minor ankle injury, and wanting to see what Johnson could do. Wants to watch the tape over again.

That's a great reference right there

I'm ready to send Ross to the gulag. He sucks. He looks afraid to get hit and doesn't make any effort to catch the ball if its not perfect.
