Also in that article, Albany virtually confirmed, UNC date moving to 11/23, maybe at Syracuse in 2013.

Per Harry, Wake filled their last OOC spot, Cuse is our last hope for 12 games. This would make sense given all of the recruits from the NY/NJ area, giving players like Cullen Casey a chance to play in front of family.

December 7 is the date of the MWC title game. I don't think Hawaii will be playing ODU, since they have to leave that date open and have 4 other non-conference games (USC, Oregon St, Navy, Army).

Oregon State played Nicholls State on the day of the Pac 12 Championship game last season (game moved to that day because of a hurricane). Also Hawaii is allowed to play 13 games because they are Hawaii.

Sure, but there was an act of God involved. Before the season, I don't think a program would want to schedule a game for that date. Doesn't really send a message of confidence to your team no matter how bad you are supposed to be.

It would kinda suck to schedule that game, have people buy tickets and airfare, then Hawaii qualify for the MWC title game. You could theoretically be up in the air as to whether or not you have to take the whole team out there in the last few weeks leading up to the game.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love it, but seems risky. Hell, schedule that game, let me buy airfare and rent a room, and then BET THE HOUSE on Hawaii making the MWC title game

Well on the bright side you could still go to Hawaii in December just no football game
