I can't stand ECU, but they would be a good addition. If BYU declines, then they would be better then AF.

Where is this stuff coming from about suck in Olympic sports. What exactly is Memphis so much better than us in other than Men's hoops? We suck in volleyball and tennis. I guess our women's hoops isn't as good as yours.
Other than that I can say safely our baseball program is 100 times better than yours. Our football team has beaten you now 7 years in a row. Our softball program is better than yours. I have no idea what your Track & Field or Swimming programs are like but historically we have done well nationally in both. We outdraw you in every sport EXCEPT men's hoops.

Said that is why Navy was asked to move up its schedule, to pair with when #14 would enter, but Navy can't pull it off, so Navy and #14 will both enter in 2015. Ehrhart says that means the decision on #14 could come much later now.
7. Ehrhart mentioned that BYU and AFA were being considered as western teams for #14, but that ECU was drawing interest from proponents of adding an eastern team, for scheduling purposes. Somewhat later, Woloshin made a negative comment about ECU not being ready, but Ehrhart just ignored him.
8. Ehrhart said that BYU might not join, due to its BYUtv network situation. In fact, he sounded skeptical that BYU will be #14. He also said it wasn't necessary to bring in AFA to pair with Navy.
9. Wolo then went off on a tangent about where the BE will play its CCG in FB. Much blather about nothing, with the bottom line being that the BE will play its CCG in the home stadium of its highest ranked team.
10. Then Wolo went off on another tangent about which teams would wind up in which division. It's a waste of time to listen to that part, b/c Wolo never considered anything other than an east-west split, and he essentially proved that he can't remember names, and that he has no grasp of geography.

Agree, hell wasn't he just in Greenville, ofcourse that may have played a part in his commits, with the way that game Sat. played out.
To add if he was taking facilities, ECU's facilities are equal to if not better than any in the BE outside of basketball, which is having a 15 million dollar practice facility added on right now. He got a good look at the consruction Sat. from the press box. But, best to let it go.

ECU is the opposite of the type of schools that have been targeted by the BE's expansion. It's a nice school placed in a rustic location in a state with "4" other NCAA D-1 teams and it's closes major city is Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News, Virginia.
While ECU has a nice fan base, they barely move the TV dial in their own state let alone nationally. BYU, AirForce and even Fresno State are in better TV markets and have larger populations to draw from.
