Yes and no. If 1 or more of those schools can make occasional serious runs in the tournament, if not pick up an occasional win it all, than the adds would amount to something. However, if those adds only slightly improve our SOS/RPis a little without much damage in the tournament, than I agree.

Aresco was with ESPN in the 80s/90s and then CBS. Total experience in those 2 networks about 28 years. A major player in the sports television business. Compare that background to certain other commissioners out there.

AAC biggest challenge yet IMO is keeping this league intact before its next TV contract... The sky is the limit for the AAC, if it can add 1-3 good solid basketball programs there's no reason why Mike Aresco can't ink this league a worthy $$$ tv deal.

The AAC is currently grossly underpaid... But with boost in basketball and it's strong football presence things $$$ could only get better for this league, IMHO.

ESPN on a Tuesday or local tv on a Saturday for a football game? Saturday by a country mile. I don't know how it's even possible to build a local fan base, or keep what you have playing those games. JMHO on what's going on with NIU from the outside. Your thoughts?
