How many 3s can a coach give bad shooting guards?

We have two down low studs and we do not run Dribble Drive or any high post sets.

Just silly and we look like a bad AAU team with no plan or design

If BP was our coach in this game it might be his last game because he wasn't smart enough not to lie when they are showing him pictures of the thing he was lying about.

You are too transparent.

You will need to pay for the buyout of the ethically challenged coach ($5M before 4/15/16), fund Pastner's huge buyout (around $10M I think), and pay Pearl more than his $2M plus he earns at Auburn. It will be an expensive item for your budget, so plan accordingly.

There is no denying the financial issues surrounding any removal of Pastner will be a major consideration. Plus, it isn't just the hiring of Pearl (or any other coach) that commands extra $$$$$; it's ANY new coach. Obviously, Pastner will have to be paid off the entire balance of his contract...PLUS...the new coach must be paid basically whatever he commands.

I also remind everyone to not forget about football. Fuente made his deal but there are still improvements to the FB program that require funds as well. None of this occur in a vacuum, contrary to some opinions on this board.

HOWEVER....those cost outlays will necessarily be compared to the potential loss of revenue from fans that just refuse to re-order season tickets, especially in the high dollar lower bowl seats. That also impacts the TSF donations.

Anyone - on either side of this argument - that thinks this is a simple decision and is based solely on ONE CRITERIA is flat out wrong.
Spot on. Dead aim. Financially, Pastner gets another year, Lawson's atop the bleeding (ticket sales wise) and you get the money right.

The Lawsons aren't going to stop the attendance decline.

Doubt if UK could beat these guys, but continue on with your fantasy.

Disagree. UK could beat Gonzaga.

They might win, but they wouldn't necessarily be the favorite. That's why they play the games.
Who knows? UK might not ever get the chance.

Yep. Anyone saying "UK couldn't beat this team" hasn't watched very much basketball this season.

The Big XII could care less about that. It's all about money to them. If they are smart enough to do the research they aren't going to care about a barbecue. If anything they would be more worried about him being a whistle blower on Illinois back in the day.

Spot on - it's all about winning and money. That's why Auburn hired Pearl.

Yes, that's why nobody good would hire him.

They are just that good. Four of their starters shoot over 48% from the field. They are the best shooting team in the nation and they still hit some shots they would not normally hit to stay off our rally. Some of those were long NBA 3s.

The initial Vegas spread was 17.5 pts and we lost by 18.

I saw no Tiger fan seriously predict we would defeat Gonzaga but most thought we would beat the spread. Of the 3 ranked teams we have played we lost by 15, 24, and now 18pts.

Or not even close.

I saw us giving up layups and wide open 3s. And the game was never in doubt. 7-2 right from the jump. Someone needs to stop drinking the sugar laced kool aid

We were down 6 points with the ball, with 5 minutes left in the half. Seriously, stick to 3 words or less.

UK is by far the best team in college basketball right now. That doesn't mean they're perfect. Doesn't mean they're unbeatable. Doesn't mean they will win it all.

But they are the best team and it's not even close. They would be the favorite in any game they played on a a neutral court and would be a favorite on the vast majority of other teams home courts as well.

I think Virginia can beat them but if it was a best of 5 series, no one would.

The guy accusing me of drinking, who hasn't had a lucid thought since he joined the board, said the game was over when it was 7-2. Of course his buddies have nothing to say about that...or anything for else for that matter.

Right now there is objective evidence that they're the most dominant college team since at least 2001, and by a pretty large margin.

Also could you supply a list of buddies?

I wonder if I made the list.
