There is no denying the financial issues surrounding any removal of Pastner will be a major consideration. UK is by far the best team in college basketball right now. That doesn't mean they're perfect. Doesn't mean they're unbeatable. Doesn't mean they will win it all.

But they are the best team and it's not even close. They would be the favorite in any game they played on a a neutral court and would be a favorite on the vast majority of other teams home courts as well.

I think Virginia can beat them but if it was a best of 5 series, no one would.

Right now there is objective evidence that they're the most dominant college team since at least 2001, and by a pretty large margin.
