They are just that good. Four of their starters shoot over 48% from the field. They are the best shooting team in the nation and they still hit some shots they would not normally hit to stay off our rally. Some of those were long NBA 3s.

The initial Vegas spread was 17.5 pts and we lost by 18.

I saw no Tiger fan seriously predict we would defeat Gonzaga but most thought we would beat the spread. Of the 3 ranked teams we have played we lost by 15, 24, and now 18pts.

Or not even close.

I saw us giving up layups and wide open 3s. the game was never in doubt. 7-2 right from the jump. Someone needs to stop drinking the sugar laced kool aid

The Big XII could care less about that. It's all about money to them. If they are smart enough to do the research they aren't going to care about a barbecue. If anything they would be more worried about him being a whistle blower on Illinois back in the day.

Spot on - it's all about winning and money. That's why Auburn hired Pearl.

Agree...it's all about the money but they probably should be more worried about what Pearl did to Illinois. There's a pearl pattern there. You'd have to wonder how far he is willing to go to promote himself or to save his own hide. I'm remembering Forbes, his assistant coach who got put in a lose/lose position by Pearl:

Now: Forbes is in his second season as an assistant coach at Wichita State.

In his own words: "It was a bad situation, but we should've never been in that situation," Forbes told CBSSports.com months after Tennessee cleaned house. "It was so stupid. It was all just so stupid."

Forbes declined to be interviewed for this piece."

All that being said, do the Power Conferences even care about BB? It was our FB program that was under the gun and saved our hides.

lol. But what if he arrives at an accurate conclusion some day and you don't get to hear it. To put it in biblical terms, that would be like not being around when the prodigal kid comes home.

Doubt if UK could beat these guys, but continue on with your fantasy.

No way they'll beat Ky. The cats bigs are MUCH BETTER than Zags bigs. Ulis, Booker and the Harrisons will hit more than 4 threes in game. Zags bigs cannot jump they are just tall and heavy. Not quick enough to guard Cauley-Stein, Lyles, Johnson and especially Towns.

Keep in mind this is the same poster that said Bartow got curbstomped by UCLA. UCLA was so distraught over this that they chose him as Wooden's successor.

How many 3s can a coach give bad shooting guards?

We have two down low studs and we do not run Dribble Drive or any high post sets.

Just silly and we look like a bad AAU team with no plan or design

I agree with most of what you said but the dribble drive is for guards and face up players not post players.

Do you guys EVER think talent and players decide games sometimes maybe?

Did we not have talent the last 4 years? Do we not have talent this season? If not why not? Who's fault is it?

No one beats KY if they play B game or better. If they play C game, you better play A game.

How many wins and NCAA appearances over last 4 years? Does everyone who said we would be better off with 4 Kings feel kinda stupid now?

You need to watch more BB..UK would beat the zags on their floor ..You do remember Wiltjer was a Cat right??...He would not be able to get his shot off against WCS nor could he guard any UK big..There is a reason he left Kentucky....And yes UK would be the favorite over them anywhere the game was played..my goodness ....

Disagree. UK could beat Gonzaga.

They might win, but they wouldn't necessarily be the favorite. That's why they play the games.
Who knows? UK might not ever get the chance.

I don't think UK would blow away Gonzaga. That Gonzaga team has the pieces to make a SERIOUS run at the NCAAs with Pangos, 6-10 Sabonis, and 7 ft 1 Przemek Karnowski. They have ANOTHER 7-1 center in Ryan Edwards...and they are very athletic.
They could theasibly make UK have to beat them with outside shooting. It is a bet I would CONSIDER making if I had an extra $100 lying around somewhere.
