Explains why they get their ass kicked in the CFP. No way to scout for Georgia and TCU when you didn't know you were playing them until December.

If HarBo is found guilty of this (on top of the recruiting issue he was suspended for),

He has to go, regardless of his record.

He's not going anywhere unless he leaves for the NFL on his own lol

It’s kinda funny. Jim wanted to go to the NFL a few years ago but knowbody wanted him. Fast forward two plus years of winning some key games (by most likely stealing signs) and he’s probably back in the nfl in a year.

As a pitcher, I was taught to study shadows, to get clues about a runners location without looking, etc. etc.

And please, there is a video data base of nearly every game played. As far as practices, that is more problematic for me, but with drones or smuggling a camera into a practice area it would be totally easy. Not much is a secret anymore.

Game outcomes are more about being able to stop the stuff you completely know is going to happen. Even if you’re wearing an earbud that tells you the next play call, that still doesn’t mean you can stop the play.

Game films do not include shots of sidelines to see signals.

If a batter facing you in your pitching days Ernie knew you were throwing a curveball you don't think he'd have a better chance of hitting it?

You must be an Astros fan.
Haha a lot of times the catcher would call for a curve and I’d throw the high hard one under their chin. They don’t call me Dirty for nothing. Smiles. After that the curve works better.

RE: U of M football being investigated again
So this Stalions kid bought tickets for people to scout 30 games over the past 3 years, including this past weekend's PSU vs. tOSU game that went unused. My guess is he gets the book thrown at him (as he should) while the coaching staff throws up their hands and pretends they didn't know anything (there's no effing way they knew nothing).

It's called plausible deniability. Very common in sports on all levels.

Welcome to the Big10, where a school can put a picture of Hitler on their video boards and it not be the biggest story of the weekend.

Head coach would need to approve a $55k paycheck to assistant & who paid for all those tickets?

Allegedly he went to 6 of the 8 teams in the original 8 CFP rankings in 2022. The two he missed? Michigan and TCU.

RE: U of M football being investigated again
So it's now being reported that a UofM coach go access to tOSU practice video. The Buckeyes had a system where players could login remotely on school issues iPads to watch practice video and one of the logins was compromised. When the breach was discovered was a few weeks before co-OC Weiss was fired for unauthorized access to computers.

By far Harbaugh's worst year was 2020 when they didn't allow anyone in the stands.

RE: U of M football being investigated again
For all of the success that I wish WMU could achieve athletically I wouldn't want it if the trade off was continuously embarrassing yourselves like the two perceived flagship schools in this state continue to do.

Pathetic the lows they're willing to go to simply to gain more wins on the field of play.....

they backed out from playing at OSU in 2020 (who would have destroyed them, OSU went on to the national title game).

Only because of the board of trustees acting like As the World Turns.

From that article (thanks for link, nick) -

Stalions seems like kind of a loon-loose cannon, (alleged) Marine background notwithstanding.

Which makes it all the more concerning he was on the sidelines at U-M games.

RE: U of M football being investigated again
I'm assuming that Stalions was hired for his "low-level analyst" position by someone other than the HC.

Such as Director of Football Operations.

If so, he-she should be gone.
