It basically is a short amendment that states that abortion can't be interpreted as a "constitutional right" and that it can't be paid out of state funds. It doesn't abolish abortion, merely removing it as a right guaranteed by the KY Constitution. In essence, just like many things we are allowed to do that aren't constitutional rights but we are allowed to do...i.e. I can drive a car but it isn't a constitutional right but can be controlled or managed by the state.

I'm not sure if it will pass or not. We shall see.

tigtoodawg I can’t tell if you were joking or what, but MTG will probably get about 75%.

I would vote against her, btw. But that district will not vote for a Democrat.

Sorry I edited the initials. MTG has been the AOC of the Republican Party. Remember she pretty much ran against a Dem that had to withdraw. She may win, but she has a military vet in a cowboy hat and of color who speaks well. Just sayin.

She..like DJT need to be sent packing for the same reason. They both attract the least common denominator of conservatives, bring out the worst in them and then make conservatism look radicalized. I can't be a part of that nonsense.07-coffee3

There is an entire language of words you can choose to use as a curse instead of the name of Jesus.

There is a certain book that says every idle word will be held against those on the wrong side of judgment day. If people will be held accountable for ever idle word, imagine the account for that one.

So maybe try to avoid using His name as a curse word, when you have so many other words avaible to you.

You're really this stupid?

You really can't tell the difference between suggesting not using a word and telling them they don't have the right to speak?

You're better than this.

I don’t agree. Republicans are trying to move to the Center too much. We need to move back to the Right. We need to kick the McConnell’s and Graham’s of the Republican Party to the curb. We are not Democrats Lite. We don’t need to try to appeal to the nonsense of the Left.

I would rather see Republicans lose standing firmly against Abortion, CRT, and Gender-fluid nonsense than win compromising our principles. If standing up for the Unborn looks radical to some, so be it.

It’s embarrassing to think Republicans lost to candidates who can’t tell you the difference between a man or a woman and believe it’s OK to kill a baby that’s been carried full term.

That’s on Republicans. Democrats didn’t win races. Republicans lost them.

I fully agree.

We can pick stronger candidates without comprising our values and principles.

Its an uphill battle on all fronts though. Our culture is corrupt and evil and loves their sin and themselves more than anything. The media, Hollywood and nearly all social influencers are against us. Everyone is wrapped up in themselves. Jesus siad when we see all the signs he pointed to for us to LOOK UP, that our redemption draws nigh. Instead the country and world are all looking down at their screens.

Prayer is actually our biggest weapon right now. There is not a single weapon we can wield that is stronger than prayer and genuine faith. Even in our darkest hour our Father can still let His will be done.

That race has tighted up big time with 40% of the vote still out.

Hard to know what is going on there at all right now. Lake was down by a lot but its really close now. There is enough vote out there that she could win comfortably.

I've not seen a good breakdown of what vote is still out though, and given the"problems" they had yesterday who knows.

That state's elections are as screwed up as any in the country.

Win or lose, I have no faith in the integrity of this broken system any longer.

I agree but she could win by a wide enough margin that they can't overturn it with any nonsense.

Fact is, she is the last hope for any chance of fixing that mess. She has to win or it never gets done.

They will never have a better and stronger candidate. She has the talent and skills to run for POTUS or vice POTUS
