RE: Huskies up 9 at half
Tonight is the night! The start of basketball for both the men and women! Men are home against pesky UIS, and the women will subject themselves to some torture at Notre Dame.

Excited to see how our basketball teams come together. Need some positive mojo around here these days.

Not only that, but I've also heard Brandon on Huskies on Tap refer to it as a regular season game (the season opener).
It's also listed on ESPN as a regular season game where the McKendree game was not.
Yep, it’s an exhibition game for UIS but a regular game for NIU.
Wow. A game that matters to one team but doesn't matter to the other team! That will ensure a victory for us, right? Imagine if we lose. To a div II team on our home court. Hope they aren't better than McKendree!
Have faith! I’m gonna challenge this team to make a 3-pointer for every hot dog I eat. I plan on being quite hungry. I will just mosey on up to concessions, buy a box load of hot dogs, and………..oh, oh, never mind. We’re gonna lose.
I didn't think you went to tuesday games. Even though the last time we played the Prairie Stars they held German and Highsmith to six pts apiece, I am counting on a twenty point (or more) victory for the Huskies. Last year the Prairie Stars lost twice to McKendree and on their website the only players who had available stats totaled 30.6 points. And none of the freshmen or transfers looked impressive.
GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I APOLOGIZE FOR THE ABOVE POST AND I PROMISE TO COME BACK TO REALITY REGARDING HUSKIE BASKETBALL. I HAVE COME TO BELIEVE I WILL NOT SEE A WINNING MBB SEASON IN MY SHORT REMAINING LIFETIME. I ALSO WILL NOT EVER SEE A PACKED CONVO. THATS ALL.
GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As most of you have pick up on, I lean heavy on optimism when it come to NIU athletics. Just at such a low point right now that if affects how I feel everyday. Like a haze over me overall. I need some positive results quick to snap out of this feeling. Of course, I will be at NW on Friday night walking in with optimism for victory. It is like a disease.

You did twice. In 2015, when we went to the Vegas 8 and in 2019, when we won the West.
You'll never ever ever ever see a packed Convo tho. Maybe a concert? I don't think Huskie Stadium will be packed again either.
