I don’t get it. Yes I was wondering how Penny would do with not ever being even a college assistant. I wondered if he was willing to put in the work. He took over a program that was in the gutter. Won 20 his first year with a crap roster except for Jeremiah. Next two years were basically non years due to Covid and the Wiseman fiasco. To me he got to the tourney in his first real year. And he’s learning and not making the same mistakes that other young coaches have here

Surely, you realize Prohm isnt a bad coach because of 2 seasons (1 being covid year) and know the difference in winning 20+ playing a B12 schedule vs playing an AAC schedule.

Calkins' column supports everything I and others said. Rudd was told we were in. Houston wasn't getting in to the Big 12 the first time and they held up us, Cincinnati and UCF not getting in the first time. Nobody wanted Houston, especially the Texas schools, but politically, they couldn't vote us and Cincinnati in and leave Texas out. That is why nobody got in the first time, even though we were told that we were in with Cincinnati, and then UCF.

The second go around, nobody wanted Houston and Rudd was told again that we were in. The change happened because Texas and Oklahoma then obviously didn't care about Houston, and ESPN strong armed the conference to take Houston.

What is more plausible? What I just typed, or your hysterics about firing Penny, the AD and hiring a coach that went 2-22?
