There will not be a “blow”. KU is untouchable as are Duke, UNC & UK.

3 scholarships for 3 years would KILL a program before NIL, but now you can just have the players walk on and pay them a bunch more NIL money.

For Darrel Arthur, their AD told the NCAA that Kansas had no idea what happened (obviously a blatant lie), so he considered the case to be closed. This is very different. It's one thing to accept probation and scholarship reductions, but suspending the coach and assistants is at the very least, an admission of guilt. There is also the matter of the taped phone conversations and emails with Self admitting to players getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to go to KU.

Bill Self isn't the same as Bruce Pearl (Sexhog will get his later), but lying about a barbecue got Pearl and Forbes kicked out of basketball. This is much much bigger. Let's cross our fingers.

Maybe the suspension will be enough.

They got a shorter probation than we did.

Looks like the only thing they're going to do is issue the show cause for the people directly involved - which is not a minor punishment. But they seem to have abandoned the hammer of postseason bans. Scholly reductions? Remain to be seen at other places.
