Are you referring to the Warren Nolan RPI?
We're not a top 100 team by any accurate poll right now. We're in the 150's or 160's.
My goal is to be a top 100 program. We're trending to that, but definitely not there now.

Gonna be even colder rolling into Penn, assuming that one happens. Hopefully we can add someone else this week...

That's a bummer about tomorrow.
I was planning on going to Penn since I have off Wednesday and Thursday. Over the weekend I noticed it was Tuesday afternoon.

sand in the wound:
"Had JMU been able to predict Morgan State’s issues, its schedule may have gotten a significant boost. No. 2 Duke’s coaching staff called JMU last week after its game against Cleveland State was canceled, but at the time James Madison had the NCAA maximum number of games on the schedule"

Oof. Kentucky with an opening on Wednesday night. Still holding out hope we can work that out... Duke would have been awesome though.

Wow that is rough. Ideally I'd rather have a solid but more winnable P5 but hey I'd very very happily take Duke and it's cool to see that they reached out to JMU instead of the other way around.
Turning down Duke basketball, academics too tough for a Duke grad transfer, ya know. Dukes > Duke clearly

I'm guessing there will be additional opportunities if we are nimble and open.
Every time I hear JMU - Duke in men's basketball it reminds me when Matt told the preseason NIT he did not want to play Duke.
I'd love to see the Dukes at Duke even if they beat the crap out of us. I'd love to see the opportunity.

I admittedly haven’t looked very hard but does anyone know how many at-large bids to March Madness the Sun Belt has received in the past couple of years? I don’t imagine it’s many but still curious.

Last time the Sun Belt got an at large bid was the 2012-2013 season.

Sun Belt did well with at larges a long, long time ago when they had VCU and ODU and UAB. They've long since left and since 1994 the conference has had a grand total of 2 at-large bids.
Having said that, essentially the entire membership has turned over since 2013 with obviously significant changes coming over the next year or two as well, so who knows how it ends up going forward.

Right now it looks to me like ULL, Ark St and Troy have good teams, the rest of the conference has a lot of work to do.
IF (certainly TBD), the incoming schools of JMU, Marshall, ODU, USM boost the competitiveness of the league, I could see SBC getting two in again. I think all of these programs have potential to raise the bar of SBC basketball.

Louisiana vs UT Arlington at 8 on ESPN + tonight.
Supposedly 2 of the better Sun Belt teams this year. I’ll probably tune in for at least some to see what they have going on.
