I heard from someone i know in the AD that it’s going to be at McMicken
Seems like Sigma Sigma Commons would be a good backdrop with the festivities in the background.
I’m going to be there.
Help me think up a good sign.
Topics that I think have potential but need developed include:
-Senator Tubberville
-Columbus State
-Urban Meyer
-Brian Kelly

The school isn't, but the building is, as well as the commons.

Indian Hill is a bit of a haul. Might as well do it at Fickell's barn if you're considering Doss's palace.

I would think McMicken Commons would be the ideal place for Gameday. Sigma Sigma is too crowded with Grid traffic, not to mention the band does it's pre-pregame show there on the steps area. McMicken provides a lot of green space for the stage and the crowd in the background plus you get a nice shot of the student center as well.

Check this off the list as another "first" in 2021--a year of amazing accomplishments for our University. So far, it appears Homecoming Saturday will be dry but a bit cold. Then again, more than five days out and I don't count on any forecast to be accurate.
The visuals of our campus should be pretty spectacular, especially for folks around the country who picture UC as some urban, concrete commuter campus. I think we're all tired of the G5 storyline and I'm sure we'll get a heavy dose of that. It would be more insightful if they would take a few minutes to trace our BCS 6 history with the old Big East, our emergence as the best G5, and our next destination as the P5 Big XII. Here's hoping that narrative gets some airplay.

I saw a suggestion that the Guest Speaker should be Joe Burrow. No way!
What’s he going to be asked “Why did you pick LSU over UC?”

Yep, there's some crazy speculation about guest pickers floating around, including folks who have their first loyalty to X or other schools. We have plenty of celebrity alumni who love UC and are really good choices and we agree, Joe Burrow isn't one of them.

I remember my son telling me about Gameday coming to Louisville years ago when he attended UL. In order to get anywhere close to the stage, you had to get in line by 4 or 5 in the morning. Thanks, but no thanks.

It's not just the campus; it's the people. UC's roster of famous alumni is really tough to beat.
Show statues of 3 people: William Howard Taft, Oscar Robertson, Sandy Koufax. Show a picture of Charles G. Dawes receiving the Nobel Peace Prize. Show pictures of Miller Huggins, Tony Trabert, and Jack Twyman entering the Hall of Fame. Then cut to an interview with the Kelce brothers.

A picture of Neil Armstrong wouldn't be amiss either...

And while a little less known than that group, Mary Wineberg, Olympic Gold Medalist remains a terrific representative for our University.
